Dr. John Hudec has been a life-long believer in the City of Cleveland. While other colleagues were starting dental practices in the suburbs and outside the City of Cleveland, Dr. Hudec went against the norm and opted for the City as his foundation. In November of 1977, Dr. John Hudec opened the doors to his 1st operatory practice at 4283 Pearl Road in Cleveland. Dr. Hudec was the Doctor, Hygienist, Assistant, EFDA, Office Manager and Patient Coordinator. He waited for that first walk-in patient to come through his doors. Soon one patient turned into two and two into four. The practice grew as word of mouth spread regarding the care that Dr. Hudec provided. Dr. Hudec focused ondoing the ordinary, extraordinarily wellin all that he did. As more patients came, the need was created for more staff and more locations to meet the increased patient demand.
The old fashioned way of building a practice allowed for substantial growth throughout the past4 decades. Hudec Dental has now grown in excess of 100,000 patient visits a year throughout its several neighborhood locations. From 1 employee, Hudec Dental now is proud to employ over250 dental professionals. Hudec Dental has now expanded their services to the Youngstown community. This growth will allow Hudec Dental to provide the quality care that everyone deserves.
The reason Hudec Dental was founded and the reason it exists today is founded on Our Purpose, or reason for existence. Simply put, Hudec Dentals purpose is To improve the quality of life of those we serve. Every patient we treat, every decision we make is rooted in our companys purpose. Hudec Dental also believes in serving and improving the quality of life of our staff. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our staff to grow and develop as dental professionals. As an organization, we must continue to grow and be better today than we were yesterday.

I went in today to have a tooth extraction. I was extremely nervous. The nurse that was with me made everything so much easier. I probably would not have been able to get through it if it wasn't for her. Also, the doctor is absolutely amazing so gentle and caring they just have the best stuff of any dentistry in our area. I highly recommend going here.

I'd be careful going here! The actual dentist needed to give me about 7-8 shots before he hit the right spot and the area he wanted numb, was numb. Then a different much younger assistant came in to fill a simple cavity but it took close to 45 mins for her to complete it. Seemed like she was practicing on me, as if she was a student. And on top of it, she didn't do it correctly because it's been hurting ever since, and food often gets trapped in a little spot. Go somewhere else !!! Save the time and money and pain.

I've been looking for a dentist and wanted someone who was really good and possibly close to home. I reviewed numerous options and was very pleased with the feedback given on Dr. Buckley. Well. I've had my first visit and he was very through in providing me with my options for care and the next steps and what to expect. I found him to be very personable and easy to talk to. His staff was professional and very helpful.

I was very pleased with my visit to Hudec Dental. All of the staff were welcoming and personable. The whole office seemed to be working efficiently and professionally. The Doctor explained all treatments and procedures thoroughly and I felt I was in very competent hands.

Staff is really friendly & helpful..I walked in with no apt. On a unexpected filling falling out and the dentist took care of the situation immediately I have a fear of going to the dentist.. The dentist his self was very patient with me & took his time during my root canal.. I'll continue to go here fir my dental work.

Dr. Buckley is always kind, lighthearted, and patient with both me and my children. He takes the time to make sure we are all comfortable, and explains exactly what to expect. He is always willing to listen to concerns and answer any questions. Donna is always amazing too. We love seeing and chatting with her while she makes our teeth bright and shiny. The office staff are always friendly and helpful, as well. I have never felt as comfortable in a dentist's office as I do with this staff at Hudec.

Just attended my deep root cleaning and my hygienist was amazing. So very good at her job. From the painless numbing to the very end, I am very satisfied with my care!! Thank you all

This is the best dentist office that I have ever been to. Dr.Buckley was heaven sent! Very knowledgeable, precise, kind and patient to say the least! Katie at the front desk is awesome and so is the other staff. They made me feel comfortable and explained everything perfect. If your looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend!

Staff was very accommodating. Most comprehensive exam I've ever had. Went in for a filling that had fallen out and found out I grind my teeth. I was molded for a mouth guard that day and they checked to make sure my insurance covered it first. I felt like a person and not just another invoice walking through the office. The art work on the walls is pretty cool too. :)

Dr. Buckley was patient and kind and soothed my worries when I said I was scared. He told me I am in control and If I wanted him to stop he would do so all I had to do was raise my hand. He put me at ease describing the process as he did his work so I wouldn't be caught off guard. I would recommend him to everyone.
