Dr. Huckabee earned his dental degree in 1987 from Baylor College of Dentistry. In 1991, he opened his private practice in Southlake. Dr. Huckabee is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

He is a graduate of the Advanced Aesthetic Program at New York University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine IV Sedation and Dentistry Courses Dr. Huckabees focus on lifelong learning allows him to master the latest advancements in both aesthetic and restorative dentistry.He has authored articles in leading dental journals and received advanced training from some of the nations most prominent postgraduate dental training facilities, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. His easygoing personality delivers the benefits of state-of-the-art dentistry to our patients in the most relaxing manner possible. When hes not in the office, Dr. Huckabee enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, skiing and hiking with his three dogs Buddy, Charlie and Bear.

Dr. Baker graduated with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Japanese language from the University of Utah in 1994. After a few years in the workforce, he decided that his true calling was dentistry, at which time he made the decision to go back to school.

He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and was the president of his dental school class during both his junior and senior years. Dr. Baker chose to complete his general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center, which is a Level 1 trauma hospital.

During his time as a dentist, he has participated in and coordinated several dental mission trips to Jamaica. He also managed and owned dental practices in the Las Vegas, NV area for years before relocating to the Southlake area in 2010.

During Dr. Bakers free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 children, and his dog (Kona the Boxer). His hobbies include running, cycling, and swimming. He finished the Texas IRONMAN triathlon in 2018 and his 6th marathon in February 2020.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Morales attended St. Marys University for her undergraduate studies and earned a BS degree in Biology in 2009. Dr. Morales then made the move to Dallas to begin her studies at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry.

After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013, she and her husband spent some time travelling around the state of Texas. She lived and worked in Austin while her husband attended UT for graduate school.

It was in the Austin area that Dr. Morales gained experience working at a pediatric dental office and was voted Best Dentist in Bastrop, Texas in the fall of 2013. After her time in Austin, a move to Houston brought her back to a family dental practice. Since then, she and her husband settled in the Southlake area.

Dr. Draper is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2003 after which he went on to obtain his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in 2009.

Dr. Draper has admitting and operating room privileges at both Baylor University Medical Center and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He is also a maxillofacial trauma attending surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center, where he is involved with training residents in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Baylor College of Dentistry.

He specializes in the treatment of diseases, injuries and malformations involving functional and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Draper has also been appointed an oral surgeon associated with the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasia.

Dr. Draper currently lives in Dallas, TX with his wife and three daughters. During his time off, he enjoys supporting his favorite hockey team, the Dallas Stars, and skiing in Colorado with his family.

Dr. Huckabee said of the event, Our intent this year is to be prepared to see as many people as we can without reservations, and thats the heart of the eventopening our hearts and serving those in need. Free treatments are not limited to those living in Southlake. Patients from surrounding areas were welcome. One patient from last year shared, My wife and I have no dental insurance. We both needed extractions, and Dentistry From The Heart is a real blessing.

The media was invited to join the hundreds of volunteers and patients at Huckabee Dental on February 10, 2012 to spread free smiles across Dallas-Fort Worth through Dentistry From The Heart located at 505 West Southlake Boulevard, Southlake, Texas. Registration began at 6am, but with limited spots available and time constraints, patients were encouraged to come earlier. For these events, patients are required to be 18 or older with valid photo ID. Services provided were limited to cleanings, extractions, and fillings. People with certain conditions, such as pregnancy, artificial joints, some heart conditions, or people on blood thinners, will be unable to be treated.

Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those who need it. Every year, individual dentists and practices across the country donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH events. In support of our DFTH partners, the organization serves to recruit, unify, and promote events on a national level.
