When I meet a patient for the first time, they often tell me they never smile because they are self-conscious about their teeth. Working with them to improve their smiles and boost their confidence makes every day of my job incredibly rewarding. I have been very fortunate to have chosen a great profession where I can help improve patients lives. This is very rewarding because I can see the difference I am able to make every day.
I love learning about my patients because they are all so different and interesting. The time I spend caring for my patients gives me a greater appreciation for their individual needs and it also makes me feel more involved in my community.
I grew up in Warren, Ohio, just a stones throw from the Pennsylvania border. I had a great experience when I came here to Columbus to attend the Ohio State University, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and then my Certification in Orthodontics. Even though my formal education is complete, I make sure to attend annual continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on all of the latest technology and practices in my field.
I am very lucky to work with a staff of experienced professionals who are great with patients and a lot of fun around the office. Many of the people on my team have been working with me since I began my orthodontic private practice in 1993. All of the time weve spent together has made us operate with great efficiency and ease, which our patients really appreciate.
I have been a proud member of the Rotary Club since 1996 and I was honored to serve as its president from 2008 to 2009, aiding both local and international communities with fundraising and volunteer projects. I am also active with the Ohio State University Orthodontic Alumni Foundation and I currently serve on the board of directors.
I really enjoy all aspects of helping patients. I love seeing the outcome of the new and improved smiles of our patients. I help patients achieve the smiles they always wanted by working out their budgets and insurance benefits. I also help the front desk run efficiently. At home I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my two precious grandchildren. I also like to garden and cool off in my pool afterwards.
As the Clinical Coordinator, I feel fortunate to lead an outstanding team of dedicated and knowledgeable orthodontic assistants. I love working with patients of all ages and seeing the dramatic changes in their smiles from start to finish. I have spent all my life working in orthodontics exclusively, it is my passion. I enjoy spending time with my family: four children and five grandchildren. My favorite vacation spot is Jamaica!
I love the hands-on aspect of being a dental hygienist and orthodontic assistant. I work with patients to help make sure they properly take care of their teeth while in braces, so they look great when the braces come off. I enjoy working with patients who are excited about the changes braces will make with their smiles and in their lives. Outside the office I like hitting the gym, reading, and playing with my dog. I like to vacation at the beach to really relax.
Puppet is always eager to make new friends and to play retriever with his favorite stuffed toys. Unfortunately, braces are not yet available to fix his prominent underbite, however, someday they may be!

I did a lot of research trying to find a good orthodontist since I was getting traditional metal braces as an adult. I didn't want to have my braces on for prolonged years but also wanted my teeth to be corrected accurately. I also didn't have insurance so I paid for the entire cost out of pocket as a graduate student. Dr. Hrabowy laid out my payment plan at the first consultation & how long I would have my braces on. The team was always so kind & I found myself connecting with them on a personal level too. It was really a seamless process. I have gotten so many compliments and now a lot of my family & friends want to get their teeth fixed as well.

They are friendly and careful when working in your mouth. Mary is quick I'm usually in and out within 1/2 an hour. The receptionist always helps me choose a date and time to accommodate my work schedule. I on the other hand am usually grumbling about wearing the braces.

Dr. Hrabowy is awesome! He made my teeth look better than I ever thought possible, his time estimate was spot on, and made having braces on as an adult a very positive experience! He said most people may not even notice I had braces on, and he was right! I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Hrabowy and his staff. Everyone is friendly and so helpful, they all make you feel right at home and happy to be there. Smiling is so much more fun now than it ever was! The only thing I regret is not having them put on sooner.

I had my braces off for five months and even though I don't come as often as I did before, I still loveeee Dr. Hrabowy and his staff. They always greet me when I walk in the door and make me feel comfortable the whole visit.

The best orthodontist office ever! The whole staff is very nice and always made me feel comfortable every appointment. I've never had to wait long periods of time for them to see me, as soon as I came through the door they were ready for me. I have 3 of my siblings come here as well and they loved their experience here and results. Although, I am glad to have my braces off and show everyone my perfect smile, I will miss seeing them as often.

Dr. Hrabowy treated both of my children and the end result is amazing smiles for life. The staff was always cheerful and welcoming to my kids and myself. There are several orthodontist in the area that I'm sure have comparable skills but the relationship that is built makes this office special.

I went to Dr. Hrabowy after getting an unsatisfactory result from wearing aligners prior. Since my first time at Hrabowy Orthodontics, the staff have welcomed me and were always friendly. I wore braces for a little over a year and recently took them off. My teeth came out straight and I am super happy with my experience. Thanks Dr.Hrabowy and staff!

Dr. Hrabowy and his staff are the best! I felt an immediate sense of ease there with my initial visit for an Invisalign consultation. In fact, I was so impressed with Dr. Hrabowy that I made my decision the same visit to get the work done! I have been researching for the best fit (and affordable cost) and I found it with Dr. Hrabowy and staff.

Dr. Hrabowy, himself, as well as his staff, are masters of their craft. Back in 2005 I got my "Hrabowy brand(tm)" :D braces off. Lookin' good as ever. I went back in 2020 to get my permanent retainer repaired (amidst the height of COVID-19) and without fail he hooked it up (pun intended). I also got a peek at my 15 year old 'before and after' pictures they still had filed away. I'd have been much worse off without the good people of Hrabowy Orthodontics. 5 stars, no question. <3
