I love being an orthodontist. The change that I see in patients from the time they enter our office to when they leave makes every day a great day. Having patients walk away with beautiful smiles and confidence makes me love what I do
I consider myself privileged to get to see our patients confidence grow as they achieve the smile of their dreams. I also really love seeing a patients excitement about the movement of their teeth as their bite improves.
Our staff in Sacramento, Modesto, Roseville, Placerville, and El Dorado Hills feels like a family and we are able to work together as one team. We all like meeting new people. When patients walk in the door, they become a member of our family. We love to laugh and hope to always leave a patient with a big smile on their face.
Dr. Grace Woo, DDS, MS, is a graduate of Loma Linda Orthodontics, UCLA Dental School, and Harvard University. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, traveling, baking, reading, and trying different kinds of food and coffees. She is excited to be a part of the Bay Area, go Warriors!
Dr. Carr received his dental training at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After finishing his DDS he and his wife moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and earned his Masters in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Certificate at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He and his wife decided they wanted to move back to California where they were both raised after completing residency.

Phone calls are answered by a rude woman at their Sacramento office, no phone etiquette at all.

I can't speak to the quality of work at this office but it's almost impossible to schedule an appointment for treatment. What's most disappointing is that they were extremely quick to charge my credit card but they have not been able to provide service to me. Last appointment I had, they rescheduled under 24 hours notice. Next availability will be a month from now. Their recommendation will be to go to another location (Roseville, approximately 35 min without traffic from location; El Dorado Hills; Stockton).

Great orthodontist..very good with the kids and a fair competitive price from start to finish braces work. Our son's teeth look amazing. We will definitely be going back to them for the other kids.

Very friendly staff! My daughter was so excited about finally getting her braces, they made her feel comfortable! Also very pleased with the price and no wait time. This is definitely the place I will be bringing my younger daughter when it's time for her to get braces!

This place is amazing, I had gone through them over eight years ago when I had my braces, now I get to take my kiddos to have the great service I had, currently my daughter is doing her braces then most likely my other kiddos will follow in line, wouldn't think about going anywhere else!!

Facility very clean. Staff very friendly. Waiting time is little to none. I would recommend coming here. This is the Modesto office. We've never been to the one in Sacramento but I'm sure just as good.

Best place to get braces, staff is friendly and very quick. I feel very comfortable here and always have a great experience with my monthly adjustments. Definitely recommend!

All of the staff was very friendly. They helped me understand everything about my son's treatment. The dental assistant helping us was incredible at putting my son at ease and answering all of his questions. She was funny and friendly.

We love it at Hoybjerg Family Orthodontics. All of the staff is so personable. Dr. Hoybjerg was very thorough in his explanation of what my son would need to align his teeth and they were able to get us right in. Their location is perfect for us and their office is so nice. We have several children who have and will get their braces from Dr. Hoybjerg!
