I love being an orthodontist. The change that I see in patients from the time they enter our office to when they leave makes every day a great day. Having patients walk away with beautiful smiles and confidence makes me love what I do
I consider myself privileged to get to see our patients confidence grow as they achieve the smile of their dreams. I also really love seeing a patients excitement about the movement of their teeth as their bite improves.
Our staff in Sacramento, Modesto, Roseville, Placerville, and El Dorado Hills feels like a family and we are able to work together as one team. We all like meeting new people. When patients walk in the door, they become a member of our family. We love to laugh and hope to always leave a patient with a big smile on their face.
Dr. Grace Woo, DDS, MS, is a graduate of Loma Linda Orthodontics, UCLA Dental School, and Harvard University. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, traveling, baking, reading, and trying different kinds of food and coffees. She is excited to be a part of the Bay Area, go Warriors!
Dr. Carr received his dental training at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After finishing his DDS he and his wife moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and earned his Masters in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Certificate at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He and his wife decided they wanted to move back to California where they were both raised after completing residency.

I highly recommend going to HFO in Modesto because I was very happy with my appointment last week ! I'm 21 and for the longest I've had the hardest time trying to get braces ! I've gone to so many different places but It's been a struggle for years now due to needing jaw surgery but Hoybjerg family orthodontics gave me a second option / opinion , which I was never able to get anywhere els ! This coming Tuesday I will finally be able to get my braces at HFO and I'm so happy now ! Also the staff is very nice !

The dental assistant has been really good every time we've gone. Twice now, they have given me an appointment and first switched the day all together and than changed the appointment time 40 minutes. In the first instance they told me Thursday at 10:20 I show up and they say oh wow was yesterday. I told them I specifically asked if there was anything for Wednesday and was told the earliest we had was Thursday at 10:20 , so I showed up no dentist in the office. So they gave me another appointment Tuesday at 10:20, even had an email sent. I get there at 10:10 and their like oh it's at 11:00. I told them I even have an email showing , they said there is nothing that they could do. End up being seen at 11:20 , and again the assistant was great. If my son wasn't referred here and we had already paid a position of his breves , I would not be going back.

The very best ortho to get your braces done very nice and polite staff and appointments are always on time we literally are in and out super fast I love this place and highly recommend it for anyone I'm currently on my 4th child getting there braces from this place

Hoybjerg Orthodontist has a great and clean environment. I have been taking 2 of my children here for the past few years and our experience have always been pleasant. Staff is amazing and are always helpful. I would definitely recommend this office.

The office is nice and clean. The staff were very professional and informative. They took the time to explain my son's treatment plan and hygiene care in detail not only to him but again to me when I entered the room. I would definitely recommend this orthodontics office to my family and Friends.

This is a great place to go for orthodontics. The staff is always extremely kind and professional. They are always quick to get us in, but good about taking their time with my son once he is in back. I would highly recommend them!

Staff is very friendly and very helpful. The doctors are great as well. Both my kids got there braces here and no discomfort or any issue at all. Just an all around amazing experience.
