I love being an orthodontist. The change that I see in patients from the time they enter our office to when they leave makes every day a great day. Having patients walk away with beautiful smiles and confidence makes me love what I do
I consider myself privileged to get to see our patients confidence grow as they achieve the smile of their dreams. I also really love seeing a patients excitement about the movement of their teeth as their bite improves.
Our staff in Sacramento, Modesto, Roseville, Placerville, and El Dorado Hills feels like a family and we are able to work together as one team. We all like meeting new people. When patients walk in the door, they become a member of our family. We love to laugh and hope to always leave a patient with a big smile on their face.
Dr. Grace Woo, DDS, MS, is a graduate of Loma Linda Orthodontics, UCLA Dental School, and Harvard University. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, traveling, baking, reading, and trying different kinds of food and coffees. She is excited to be a part of the Bay Area, go Warriors!
Dr. Carr received his dental training at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After finishing his DDS he and his wife moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and earned his Masters in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Certificate at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He and his wife decided they wanted to move back to California where they were both raised after completing residency.

I got braces on here a month ago. The staff is really friendly and kind, and Dr. Hoybjerg is great with patients and parents. I appreciate the time he takes after procedures to talk to parents and patients about their dental care. And they have built in tv screens so during patient's care, they can watch movies too. This helped me take my mind off of it when I was a little nervous because it was my first time getting braces. I would recommend this place to anyone because of the staff mainly. 5 stars for sure.

My husband and I never had braces so we were a little unsure about how this process was going to go. However, our worries were instantly eased as soon as we made the phone call! The lady who made the appointment was so friendly and answered all of my questions. As soon as we arrived at the office, they followed all COVID protocols and took all of our paperwork. We didn't have to wait long and they were so friendly. They explained EVERYTHING and why they were doing it. Our daughter was instantly comfortable throughout the entire experience! We weren't expecting to get the braces on same day but they were able to put them on and she can't wait to show them off at school. Dr. Hoybjerg is SO friendly and really makes the patient and parents feel totally comfortable! They went over all of the treatment and payment options and I was so grateful for all of the choices we had. They really have every option to fit your budget. Afterwards we got a cute goody bag which had all of the stuff you need for your braces and some cute goodies! I can't say enough good things about Hoybjerg Family Orthodontics!!!! They are active in their community and very generous. If you are looking for an orthodontist, do not look elsewhere!!! When we were driving home our daughter says, "Is this a dream? I am so excited to have my braces! I can't wait to go back!" You are doing something right if you have a kid who wants to go to Orthodontist

Dr.Christian Hoybjerg and his staff are amazing! They pay attention to every detail. My son had an underbite & crossbite in just a couple of months his bite was corrected. I was surprised how fast that was! If you want an Orthodontist who is knowledgeable, caring, honest & does his best for you than Dr.Christian Hobjerg is the Orthodonist for you! He is truly a gem! I cannot say enough positive about Dr. Hoybjerg and his excellent staff. My youngest of five had a mouth full of problems, and frankly, I was dreading addressing them. I was less than confident she would be compliant and the cost and guilt of the situation made me hesitate. From the moment we met this staff, we were both placed at ease. I had gone to other orthodontists in the area who were great, but the staff sometimes left more to be desired at least with my children. We decided to try Dr. Hoybjerg and were surprised with how positive the experience was. The cost was reasonable (we priced three other orthodontists in the area), the ease of making appointments was convenient and the visits were surprisingly stress-free and pleasant. It is a new, clean office that is child friendly. (The office is shared with an equally outstanding pediatric dentist, Dr. Danielson, on opposite days.) Happily my daughter's mouth is looking great! Another huge bonus is the location in EDH is literally less than 1 minute from 2 elementary schools, a middle school and the high school. This convenience led my daughter to miss minimal school even on longer appointments. They are quick in every way! I have been so pleased I went for Invisalign myself! The entire office staff is professional and excellent with children and anxious adults! These five stars are not an exaggeration! Thank you Hoybjerg Family Orthodontics!
