A Tulsa native, Doctor Howl is a graduate of Bishop Kelley High School. He received his bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University. He then moved to Dallas to attend the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry. After receiving his doctorate in 1977, Doctor Howl moved back to Tulsa to start his practice.
Doctor Howl is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Tulsa County Dental Society and serves on the board of directors of Delta Dental Insurance. He keeps abreast of changing technology by frequently attending continuing education courses around the country.
Doctor Howl has traveled to the Amazon to care for the natives, and he also volunteers for Neighbor for Neighbor in Tulsa to give back to his local community. His interests include fishing, travel, bicycling, and karate.
