BEWARE Dr. Kim was not as honest as I thought. In August 2020, Dr. Kim advised me that my tooth next to my molar, bottom right, needed to be extracted or I could save the tooth by having a root canal. I wanted to save it. I asked Dr. Kim had he done root canals before & he said many. August 24, 2020 during procedure, it was painful, but he assured me it would be fine once he gave me a shot down in the actual opening where Dr. Kim proceeded to work. He hurriedly rushed me out to desk & I asked was he done already & that's it? He said yes. I've had root canals before with other dentists but nothing like this About a month or so later, I felt something wasn't right. I felt an ache & uncomfortableness and decided to go to a specialist. At which time, the spcialist gave me a CT Scan which revealed a piece of Dr. Kim's root canal tool was lodged in the area where he was doing the root canal. I was so angry! He said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The specialist emailed Howell Ferry Dentistry &/Dr. Kim to advise of her recommendations (1. Proceed with permanent crown watch for 1 year 2. Retreatment (pursue to retrieval of fragment) 3. Apicoectomy (surgery). The specialist said she doesn't want to do it. Now that's scary to me. I don't know what this may cause me long term nor does Dr. Kim seem to care. I decided to wait for a year.as I do not have dental insurance & used my savings for the initial root canal. I know I can still take legal action, but I haven't as of yet. I called to talk to Business Manager no response. Now this same tooth that I paid nearly $800 for out of my savings is bothering me AGAIN! Dr. Kim has never offered to reimburse me or pay for a specialist (seeing that it was his error/carelessness) to remove this object. He knew that piece broke off & was lodged down in the treated area & said ABSOLUTELY nothing to me. He's even worked on my children's teeth when they were younger. I never expected this from Dr. Kim. Just goes to show everyone isn't trustworthy or honest or responsible as you think. I still want him to do the responsible thing as I'm in pain geeesh is that too much to ask?? BEWARE!!!

Dr. Kim is amazing. Very welcoming and compassionate. I was in great pain and he was extremely empathetic. He got me in the same day! His tone, demeanor and overall presence was absolutely awesome. One of the best dentists I have ever visited. He truly cares about patients and does his best to ensure that his patience experience comfort. Also, the staff was extremely friendly. From my initial phone call with the receptionist to the assistant rubbing my arm when I received the anesthesia or when she noticed I experienced any discomfort. The empathy this office showed me is beyond admirable. This office definitely understands patient care. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dental home!! Best dental office ever!!!!

A year ago, I visited Dr. Kim for the first time because I needed two complicated wisdom teeth removed. The office was very clean and welcoming. Leah was so sweet. She brought me a blanket and even held my hand while Dr. Kim injected the numbing. Everyone here makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Kim is a fantastic dentist! He thoroughly answers every one of your questions and cares so much about his patients. It's definitely worth the drive to Gwinnett.

I went to Howell Ferry Dentistry because a small part of my retainer fell off. I was bit hesitated to go see a dentist, due to COVID; however, as they said that they follow all the guidelines, I made an appointment. My experience has been such: 1. they did not take the temperature of patients, 2. I saw patients walking around the aisle without wearing masks, and 3. they did not ask about the presence of fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID to their patients, including myself. I have had permanent retainer for over 10yrs, and therefore, I have experienced many different issues in the past and am well aware of the price of fixing a permanent retainer. When I saw the bill, I was very shocked because the price they asked me to pay was way too high (it was by far the most expensive bill that I encountered to repair the retainer). I told them that I believe the price is not reasonable and asked if it was correctly charged. After a few conversations, they lowered my bill by 66%.. If I did not have the past experiences with the issue, I would have been just paid what they asked me to pay and get ripped off..

So I hate going to the dentist and have always had this huge fear. I'm pregnant and managed to chip 2 teeth in the same week, and they got me in right away, were super considerate, explained everything to me that was going to happen and all my options. They really took their time and made sure I was aware and comfortable . I have to go back for a root canal soon and definitely so much more at ease being there. Thank you!

Best dentist ever!! This place is extremely clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. I went in because I was in great pain and they saw me right away! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great customer service.

I took my mom here for her dental check up and deep cleaning. We will definitely come here from now on and finish her treatment. Dr. Kim explained and answered the questions very well. No waiting and friendly staff. It was a great experience for both my mom and me!

My favorite fantastic office! Dr. Kim and staffs are Great with legitimate service. You will look forward to going to the dentist. They are honest, reasonable, and caring.
