Hi! Im Dr. Kent Howell. I appreciate the time you have taken to visit my website. Please allow me to introduce myself. I grew up on the other side of the country in Utah. I attended the University of Utah and completed my undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology. It was during my time there that I first considered going to dental school. I realized that dentistry was the perfect career fit. It would allow me to utilize my talents to help others and fulfill my childhood dream of being a doctor. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University and decided to stay in sunny Florida.
I have practiced dentistry in The Villages area since 2009. When I am not spending time with my patients, I tend to be with my family. My wife, Gimena, and I have four amazing and active children named: Jeffy, Landon, Lucas, and Sofia. I also enjoy golfing, playing basketball, boating, coaching sports, working out, and serving within my local church.
I am Melissa. I am a certified dental assistant and I have worked in a dental office since 2001. I love meeting new patients and hearing about your background. I really enjoy working with patients and the diversity of your cases. You may see me at the front desk or assisting in the back with Dr. Howell. I was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Florida when I was 3. I married my high school sweetheart and I have a son and a daughter. Hey there! My name is Leigha. I am one of the rare, true Floridians. I was born and raised in Ocala. I am a certified dental assistant, but I spend most of my time at the office at the front desk. Ive worked in the dental field since 2015. I enjoy meeting new people and cherish the relationships I make with co-workers and patients. I married my high school sweetheart and have a daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and our boxer pups. I also enjoy being outside, boating, fishing, motorcycle riding, relaxing on the front porch, and playing and watching sports.

I moved to Tampa, FL at the age of 10 and lived there for 35 years before moving to Ocala. My hobbies are sewing, arts and crafts, baking, riding a Harley, and spending time with Bobby, my boxer.
Hello there! Im Beverly. I am a registered dental hygienist. I love to have a good time at work and you will probably hear me or my patients laughing at some time during your visit to our office. I take great pride in making sure I help you improve your oral health. I am originally from Alabama and I enjoy spending time with my daughter and granddaughter.
My name is Renee. I was born in a very small town in Vermont and grew up there until I was 10 and moved to Florida. I am a registered dental hygienist and graduated from hygiene school in 2003. I was a dental assistant before that. I really enjoying helping people improve their oral health. It is very fulfilling to get a sense of satisfaction from helping people every day. I met my husband in high school and we have a son and a daughter. When Im not at work, Im helping my kids with homework, school projects, and continuing to learn about health and wellness. Dr. Howell was recommended to me last year by a retired dentist I had asked if he could recommend a good dentist. I had gone to 2 other area dentists over the past 3 years and was not getting good service at either. I am happy to report he was right! I have received the best cleanings I've ever had, excellent communication and professional chair side manner, and the easiest tooth extraction I've ever experienced. The Howell Dental staff are all wonderful to work with!

Had a crown fall out last night. I just dropped in the office at 8:00 a.m. The crown was re-installed at 9:00. Great service. Thanks a bunch. Also I was a new patient.

Do not go to a Dentist in Lady Lake called Dr. Howell. I had a crown put in less than 2 years ago. The crown cracked. I was very upset and talked to the dentist about the situation, asking him to discount the price of a new crown. The hygienist in the office interfered with my conversation with him and then waited outside of the office after I was done talking to the dentist rudely telling me not to ask about prices. For a member of the office staff to wait outside the office to talk to me rudely is very concerning. I called the dentist and told him I will NEVER GO BACK TO HIS OFFICE. To put up with this total lack of professionalism will not be tolerated.

The staff continues to provide a personal and caring professional approach. Beverly does a very professional and thorough job as a hygenist while being empathetic and relates extremely well. The front desk team also is personable and professional. Dr. Howell is the consumate professional. He generates confidence and presents the options and pros and cons to the options available. He is not overly friendly but he does instill confidence in his knowledge and recommendation.

Low key. Not high pressure. Honest. Recommended better home care and were specific. Advised me of conditions that may become problems down the road. Advised me of conditions that fixing was optional. I feel very comfortable in this practice.

Very disappointed- Scheduled a root canal - only to learn de Howell was not capable to do procedure- Then - he referred me to oral surgeon for root canal , and then charged me $82 bucks to tell me he wasn't capable to do the scheduled procedure--
