Our resident orthodontic wizard and gypsy rebel, Dr. Seanica Howe, received her dental degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She graduated with honors and was recognized for her academic excellence with a membership in the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. She also held a teaching position in cell and molecular biology for incoming dental students.The following year, she entered her orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University and completed her certification in 2003.
Prior to establishing Howe Orthodontics in Key West, Dr. Howe owned, designed, and directed orthodontic practices in her home state of Missouri as well as in South Florida. She has been practicing in South Florida since 2003. Her love for esthetics and the art of orthodontics comes naturally and extends into her other interests as well.
Drawn by her artistic spirit, she trained in the fine arts at the Miami Art Institute where her early designs and drawings were recognized and displayed. In 2012, she received a master's degree in modern and contemporary art from the prestigious Christie's auction house in New York City. Dr. Howe has worked as a freelance art writer and many of her writings have been published by the Miami New Times. She is currently at work on a book intertwining life, spirituality, magic, and art.
She's inspired more than a fewkids to go into the field of orthodontics and is committed to breaking down barriers in business. You'll never see her in a white coat but you will see her lighting candles, workingwith crystals, and justutilizing life as an opportunity to elevate love and beauty.

I got my fixed retainers done and completed over 24months journey of braces. Now my teeth look much better than I'd expected, and I feel great about myself. Thank you for making my orthodontic appointments so much fun especially all the effort you have spent in making my teeth perfect. I am very grateful to all the staff out there.. Jamie, Jenn, Silvia, Andy and all Howe orthodontist family. I already had my final appointment, I will truly miss you guys. Thank you Dr. Howe for my new smile! Thank you for going over the x-rays in detail and explaining what was best for me and the result is just amazing!

Absolutely amazing staff and so nice! We had an emergency with my daughter's braces and they got us right in and fixed it immediately even though she is not their patient. Highly recommend them!

Clean, professional, fast, kind. My child's expander had shifted and was jamming into the roof of her mouth causing extreme pain. Dr Howe squeezed her in as fast as she could into her schedule. Kept my daughter calm and comfortable. Had the problem fixed in minutes and we were on our way. Every quality about this business is a good quality. Not a single complaint. Thank you Dr Howe, you and your staff were awesome!

I wanted to write a glowing review for Dr. Howe and her staff!! They brought my daughter's smile a very long way and we are very grateful!! My daughter started her journey with two horizontally impacted canine teeth that were causing flaring out of the two other teeth next to them. We weren't even sure the canine teeth would be able to be exposed/brought down. Dr. Howe helped us through an expander, a referral for baby teeth removal, a referral for oral surgery for chains on the canines, using the chains to pull the impacted teeth down, and finally braces. All of that happened quicker than we expected. It's relieving to see my daughter confidently smiling with her teeth showing now. Amazing job, Howe Orthodontics!! We were on vacation in Key West for Thanksgiving and something came loose on my braces. Dr. Howe's team called my orthodontist back home, and told me to come in and I'd be worked in. They made a repair and wouldn't accept any payment. I highly recommend Howe Orthodontics!

These ladies saved the day!! I was down on vacay with family and I had a wire that was poking the s*** out of me. I offered to pay to have them clip this and they adamantly declined! Super friendly and helpful! Clipped the wire and even gave me some wax to go! I think the Orthodontist was from my home town!! STL!! Instant connection. If I lived in Key West this would be my Orthodontist!

What a life saver they are here! While vacationing in Key West my daughter started having a problem with her expander. Even though she is not a patient here, they worked her into the schedule for the same day I called and treated her so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. On top of that, they didn't even charge me. Everyone was very friendly, I was very impressed!
