General and cosmetic dentist Dr. Howard 'Doug' Booth graduated from Emory Dental School in 1977. He served four years as a general dentist in the U.S. Army and moved to Atlanta in 1982 to begin private practice. He relocated his practice to Macon in 1983.
Dr. Booth has extensive training in the most advanced dental treatment services available in all facets of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration and reconstructive procedures. He has expanded his clinical practice to include oral appliance management of mild to moderate sleep apnea and the use of Botox and dermal fillers for facial esthetics and pain relief from TMD (jaw joint) disorders.
Through his active memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Booth maintains an active continuing education calendar and stays involved in the advancement of the dental profession.
Dr. Booth and his best friend and wife, Maya have two adult children. Dr. Booth is an active triathlete and participates in local and national competitions; he also enjoys boating and spending time at the ocean.

Laura been a member of the dental profession since 2011, she joined our practice in 2019. She has extensive experience in dental insurance and the business side of dentistry, which is a big help to both our team and our patients! Laura has two teenage sons; she enjoys staying active with them as they play baseball and football. Other favorite family activities include spending time together on fishing trips and outdoor adventures.
What I love most about dentistry are the people! I love interacting with patients and helping them get their needs and dreams met. You can transform a toad into a prince or princess! The relationships I have formed with our patients are lifelong and really mean the world to me. After spending over 34 years with Dr. Booth and my co-workers, we really are all a family. Dr. Booth is a great dentist and boss; it is a pleasure to come to work every day.
Tracey has been in the dental profession since 1979, and has worked with Dr. Booth since 1981. An instant friend, Tracey is well liked by her team and our patients, she really has never met a stranger. During her family time away from the office, she enjoys participating in her synagogue, watching old movies and making crafts.
Corinne's kind manner is always appreciated by our patients, and her skills with public relations and social media are invaluable in helping us get the word out about dental health. Corinne and her husband Jay have three wonderful children, their daughter Anya and twin infants, Remi and Will. Corinne and Jay love spending time with their friends and family, and both enjoy hiking and watersports.
It's wonderful to work in a practice with so many talented people. Dr. Booth is an amazing dentist, and he treats everyone with great respect. The stories and laughs we share with our patients and each other makes our practice feel like a great big dental family!
Ivie has been a dental hygienist since 1979; she has been with our practice since 1998. Constantly seeking new information about technology and clinical research, Ivie is a wealth of knowledge for our team and our patients. Ivie says, 'The Lord has blessed me and I am grateful!' She loves spending time with her family; her hobbies include traveling and swimming.

Trina has been a dental hygienist since 1986. She worked with Dr.Booth from 1988 to 2001. She returned to us in 2018 and we are thrilled to have her! Trina and her husband Randy have 4 children, 1 grandson and twin granddaughters on the way. Trina's hobbies include spending time with family, hosting events and interior decorating.
What I love about dentistry is the role I play in helping people feel better about themselves with a beautiful smile! The camaraderie we have with our patients is very special; I have watched many of them grow up in our practice and now we are caring for their children.
Lisa has been with our practice since 1980. Her kind spirit, love for people and devotion to faith and family is a source of daily inspiration for both her team and her patients. Lisa and her husband have two grown children and two granddaughters. She enjoys hiking, fishing, speed walking, biking and camping.
I really enjoy educating my patients about dental health. Teeth are the only part of the human body that don't repair themselves! We all work together to make our patients comfortable and help them get the dental care they need.
Vera has been a Dental Assistant since 1980. She joined our practice in 2011. She has extensive experience in specialty dentistry, including orthodontics and endodontics (root canals). Her knowledge and compassion are a delight for both her patients and our team. Away from the office, Vera enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
I really enjoy helping patients feel confident about their smiles again. I had orthodontic braces as a child, so I was able to directly experience the difference that feeling better about your smile can make. Dr.Booth's practice is like being part of a big family, he is an amazing dentist, my team and our patients are just wonderful to workwith!
Prior to joining our practice, Kristen completed her Associates degree in Pre-Nursing at the Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. She continued her education to receive her Dental Assisting diploma from Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro. We are so glad her studies and career brought her to our Macon dental practice in 2018! Kristen loves music and playing her guitar, as well as spending time with her 3 dogs and 1 cat, and enjoying the great outdoors.
