Dr. Giancarlo G. Romero was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1970. Educated in the Venezuela school system, he graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1993, obtaining his D.D.S. degree. He taught at the same institution and worked in Caracas for two years.
Coming to the United States in 1995, he studied and worked at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Department of Prosthodontics, and obtained his certificate in Prosthodontics and Master in Science Degree in 1998.
In 1998, Dr. Romero was involved in a year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center where he obtained the certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthodontist. He was awarded the prestigious Cooksey Award in 1997 and 2009 at the Greater Houston Dental Meeting. He is an associate professor on the Graduate Prosthodontic Program, UTHSC. Dr. Romero is currently in full-time private practice. He is involved in research related to implants and ceramics and is a worldwide lecturer.
Dr. Jess Enrique Cabrera was born in Bogot, Colombia in 1984. After completing his Bachelors in Biology at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, he entered The College of Dental Medicine at NSU where he received his D.M.D. title in 2010. After working as an associate in south Florida for 1 year, he moved to Texas to continue working for an additional 3 years.
In July 2014, he entered the postgraduate program in Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Dental Branch. Dr. Cabrera received his certificate in Prosthodontics & Master of Science in Dentistry degree in June 2017.

Dr Romero gave me back my life aftet 4 years of going to the wrong dentist , I was referred to another dentist and after he heard my story and what I'd been through he told me that he wanted to refer me to the best of the best. Dr Romero is THE BEST OF THE BEST, he literally gave me my life back! Prior to going to Dr. Romero I endured so much pain and invested so much time and money and Dr Romero did more for me in 3 visits than the other dentist did in 4 years. You are so gentle and caring. You really listen to me and really care about your patients. My teeth are beautiful and I can eat without fear of my bridges falling out. Everyone at this office is very thorough, professional and friendly. They take care of the whole person. Their team work with one another and expertise in their field is very reassuring. Dr. Romero is the absolute BEST at his profession as an oral surgeon for Dental Implants. I've experienced many different dentists and oral surgeons throughout my life, which is a major reason why I needed full upper and lower Dental Implants. I waited 4 long years before finding Dr. Romero because you only get 1 opportunity to have Dental Implants installed correctly. Ask yourself this question: "Would you purchase the lower cost oxygen tank prior to scuba diving or the lower cost parachute prior to sky diving? See Dr. Romero if you need Dental Implants and desire the best...you'll sleep better at night.

So dissapointed in this place! Received a Maryland bridge, and within 4 months the tooth keeps falling out, only for them to charge for a new Maryland bridge!! For those that doesn't want to waste over $5k, rather stay away from this money making fraud!

I couldn't let another day go by at 2022 without saying thank you to Dr Romero. Thank you for the fabulous Christmas card and the donation in y honor to M.D Anderson Hospital but also for giving me my life back. After 4 years with another dentist I endured so much pain and invested so much time and you did more for me in 3 visits than the other dentist did in 4 years. You are so gentle and caring. Doctor Giancarlo Romero is an excellent professional, I do not think his quality could be compared with anyone in this city, but also he is a beautiful human being. I have a medical condition that requires a very special care and he is the only one who is able to take care of me. He is very capable, gentil and I can't express my gratitude. He is the best !

Dr. Ramero is excellent. My dentist referred me to him as THE guy to get veneers from in Houston. I was super nervous initially, particularly since I'm uber picky. I'm glad I took the chance and I can't believe how much better my smile is now. Pricing was competitive and you're given the total, all-in cost up front. No surprise extras whatsoever. All of the things I was worried about going into it ended up being non-issues and the doctor spent plenty of time answering my questions and working with me on creating the right smile. Overall it was a great experience and I'm so glad I moved forward with getting veneers from Dr. Romero.

I am 55 years old, with a life time of numerous dental treatments and procedures. It began at age 12 and is still on going. My smile is the first thing people notice about me and you can see every tooth I have when I smile. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars treating my teeth and gums so they would last a life time. Unfortunately for me, some of my issues are genetic, hereditary or a result of a childhood treatment. I'm very particular about every detail of my smile and the skills and expertise that goes into each treatment. Dr Romero is the most detailed expert in his field. His office provides everything you need in one location. He not only treats and "Expertly" designs your smile, his in house lab builds the crowns and veneers. When I was looking for a clinician to do some anterior esthetic work for my front teeth, I went to see 2 other dentists who couldn't help me with my concerns. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Romero so I went to see him and his team; they did not disappoint! He is a professional with eye for detail and attentive ears. He took the time to listen to my concerns, completed a thorough exam, and discussed his treatment plan with me so that I understood his objectives. I could tell he really understood my concerns and worked with me to get a result we'd both be happy with. With that said, the quality of work is equally comparable to his bedside manner and exceeded my expectations. The work looks so natural that even my dentist friends have no idea I had anything done! I'm thankful to Dr. Romero and his staff (who are also amazing!) for the wonderful experience, and my new and improved smile.
