Dr. Edward Karl graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and received his postgraduate training in periodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Karl has been past president of The Hartford Dental Societyand the Connecticut Society of Periodontics, and has served on numerous committees for The American Academy of Periodontology.
He has served as an assistant clinical professor in the graduate periodontics department at Tufts Dental School as well as the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and has also been a featured speaker at The American Academy of Periodontology.
I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. I am new to the Northwest Corner and enjoy getting to know our patients and their families. I attended college at New York University and received my dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
I really love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships Ive built with my patients and their families are very meaningful and many times unique. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when peoplecome to me for treatment, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
I look forward to continuing to move our practice forward and building upon the great trust and relationships we have with our patients. We can always do more for you, and its my goal to make sure were doing our best to provide the best care possible for you and to do it in a genuine way with warmth, courtesy, and respect.

It is always a great experience it going to Housatonic Valley dental care. Holly does a great job maintaining my gums. Everyone is very nice.

The rooms have music and relaxing nature scenes to watch. Staff is friendly and helpful. My hygienist was careful to explain things, was gentle, and kind. I was glad I came! How often does that happen?

I have never had such a bad experience at a dentist as I have at this place. I never leave bad reviews but I recommend folks AVOID this clinic at all costs. They were unable to do a very basic procedure like install a crown despite trying THREE times. In prepping my mouth for the crown, they cut the inside of my mouth so badly that my entire face swelled up for 3 days. It's now nearly November and they are billing me for procedures that occurred back in June because they don't seem to be able to keep their records properly or bill insurance claims in a timely manner. Everyone working at this clinic seems to be totally unskilled and untrained in basic procedures. I'm really shocked by the incredibly horrible service from this place.

Another excellent experience at Housatonic Valley Dental Care. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, but was taken right away., and the procedure was completed in no time. Dr. Dannon and his staff are always professional, friendly, and supportive. Parenthetically, I was interested to learn that the lovely garden surrounding the office is partially the work of Dr. Dannon himself! You might say he's as good with plants as he is with implants! Happy to give him and his office a five star rating!

I felt like I was in a spa. Beautiful images on TV screens, pleasant music, Dyson air technology filtered the environment. Gentle touch for teeth cleaning.

Dr. Dannon and his staff could not have been more professional, good-natured and supportive. The office operates like clockwork, with all aspects of today's dental procedure completed in a timely manner and well coordinated. The icing on the cake was that the procedure was painless! I couldn't have been more pleased!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff at Housatonic Valley Dental! The hygienist, Laurie, completed my six-month check up/cleaning, etc. She's thorough, professional, pleasant. The doctor is a lovely man. Gentle, positive. I leave feeling I'm in the best possible dental setting, reassured that what I'm doing at home and in their care is adding to my overall health and well-being!

Great service as always, no question about that! Huge THANK YOU to the whole team, very professional, and they truly care. Today I learn the hi-Tec of the dental procedure, simply amazing, right here in our little Canaan, world class service is available. Great feeling especially during this covid craziness we are still trying to fix.
