Doctor Harley Houghton was raised in Plymouth, Indiana and spent a lot of time in his youth visiting Newton County at the family farm where his mother was born. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Indiana University School of Dentistry, he has practiced in Rensselaer since 1982 when he purchased Dr. Steve Henleys dental practice.

I couldn't be more pleased with this office. Everyone is so kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about my visit. I had an emergency and Dr Houghton and staff did everything they could possibly do to help me. I was seen the same day which (in my experience) never happens. They answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. Carie even offered to hold my hand I've been to a few dentists in my 57 years and I can honestly say this has been the best experience. Thank you all so much.

Dr. Houghton and staff are all very kind, professional, and caring. I've been coming here for 25 years and they've taken excellent care of my teeth.
