How Dr Hott is still in business is beyond me. When I moved to the Bluffton area, other then some cavities I had when I was really young I had no issues to date. So you can understand my shock when I was told I had multiple cavities at Dr. Hotts office. I decided to take a second opinion at Nicholson Family Dental and miraculously Dr. Nicholson saw no big issue with my teeth. Years later everything is going fine. Just imagine the extra money I would have had to dish out and have my teeth compromised for no reason! I would not recommend you or your family going there.

Dr. Hott and his staff are wonderful with my young children. My 5 year loves going to the dentist! Thank you all for being so patient and explaining everything to my son and I and making his experience so great!

They make you feel so comfortable and make you want to go to the dentist. The people are friendly and tell you everything they are doing. I won't go anywhere else.

I had 11 teeth extracted & upper and lower partial dentures put in yesterday. I finally have my confidence back in my smile. Hott Family Dentistry was so caring and calming with my anxiety through everything. Thank you Dr Hott & the team for making me feel pretty again!!

Took my daughter yesterday to get her teeth cleaned. She was very scared. I've taken her to the dentist elsewhere before and she would never let them in her mouth. Chelsea was so sweet and patient with her. She made sure to explain what she was doing before hand and let her touch the tools before she put them in her mouth. Super impressed by her. Thank you

A great dentist with awesome staff, but be prepared for a very busy schedule! This place will absolutely take care of you and will listen to your concerns. Being your own advocate is respected here. However, their schedule is always very full. Keep this in mind if you have any kind of dental issues that need frequent checks or maintenance. It would be great to see Dr. Hott open a second location, but I wouldn't want it if it meant sacrificing quality of care. That'll just be something for him and his excellent employees to think about.

Dr.Hott is absolutely amazing. He gave me back my smile back, when I was uncomfortable he stopped immediately to get me more numb and made sure I was okay before continuing. Hes so gentle, and very caring for his patients! He never rushes anyone. His staff is also sooo amazing Thank you ALL so much!

Nice people here but doctor doesn't communicate well. He reluctantly explained why I had a cavity and I wasn't convinced. I got a second opinion which turned out to be no cavity.

The office staff are liars & extremely rude. Instead of admitting to mistakes, they lie & gaslight you (Laura & Wendy). This place has gone down hill. They cancel Apts without notice or consent. The office staff, especially Wendy, is completely rude. I feel bad posting this, because Dr Hott himself is Amazing. But for his office staff to lie about something so small, to cover up a negative review I left, doesn't reflect well on him. I would hope Dr Hott knows my character after 4 years & referring 5 new patients to him. Just disappointing because I love Dr. Hott & his assistants. But you never see him. You get assistants now. & the people you interact with most (office staff) mess up billing, scheduling & are rude.

I've only have had about 2 toothaches in my life, so I knew I probably cracked an old filling. I was worked in rather quickly, I did not feel like i was rushed. So instead of extraction or crown, he felt pain was from an uneven alignment or sinus. Start there first, with antibiotics and numbing n get me better aligned. Always top notch care here. Did I mention I absolutely loathe dentist appts and sit white knuckle the whole time. His team is great, i always refer and i will always be a patient here. Marla was great, i never had her work on me before. Thanks so much.

Best dentist you can hope for. I have had terrible experiences with dentists my whole life. Hott and his team changed that for my kids and I.

Not so Hot t.I now have floating dentures.His staff does Most of the work.my gravity denture as he called is too widedThree different technicians used the grinding tool on it.So what do you expect.L paid a lot of money out of my pocket and I want it back so zI van see a real denyist.
