Susan K. Wilson D.D.S., dental surgeon, is a native of Columbus, Ohio. Educated in Columbus City Schools, Dr. Wilson attended Highland and Watkins Elementary, Beery Junior High, and graduated from Marion-Franklin High School in 1974. She attended Howard University and The Ohio State University receiving her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from The Ohio State University in 1978 and 1983, respectively.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Wilson served as an Associate Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry from 1983-1993.
Dr. Wilson is the first African-American female to open a private dental practice in Columbus, Ohio, and has been serving the Columbus area out of her East side office for over 30 years. She is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Columbus Association of Dentists (CAD), the local chapter of the National Dental Association (NDA).

Dr. Wilson is one of the first female general practitioners in the Columbus, Ohio area who surgically places dental implants. Have been here several times for an appointment and been told by the dentist that she doesn't have enough time to complete a deep cleaning and a filling that broke that was done by Dr. Brooks that she simply filled in with a temporary filling (putty). I came in for another appointment that I took time off work for and was told she would dedicate time to complete my filling, but instead she added a few temporary filling stating she didn't have enough time to complete the procedure that has already been paid for. A crown was placed on top of a tooth that needed a root canal and I'm sure she knew that but placed the crown over it anyway. So now I have to go to a separate dentist to get a root canal on the tooth that she placed a crown over. I can barely eat on that side of my mouth and have been in pain because of this. She just gave me antibiotics and told me to make an appointment to get my root canal done on my crowned tooth and then she would replace the filling that was broke after that's done. I was rushed out at every appointment I've had here and not satisfied with the work that has been done on my teeth. Unfortunately I will be seeking another dentist.

I felt really calm and cared for. The dental treatment is gentle. Everyone used holistic care methods for my treatment. Also, along with dental care they offer sleep health care. I received amazing customer service with genuine care. Thank you!

Such a 22nd-century experience using the latest pandemic-inspired techniques! If you are a Trekkie, I think McCoy and LaForge would be customers here, as comfortable and impressed as I am. Definitely a leading edge practice here!. No, I did not get laughing gas. They are just so good I can't find other ways to express my joy.

I just had a tooth extraction and if I needed false teeth I would let Dr. M. Brooks pull them all. I didn't realize she had the tooth out until she told me because it was so painless. At other dentist I thought I would jump out the chair from pain. Thank you Dr B I will see u in two weeks for my cleaning.
