Dr. Zahra Hosseini received her undergraduate degrees in cellular biology and molecular biology from the University of Washington in Seattle. She received the prestigious Health Professional Scholarship from the US Navy, and graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Hosseini served for more than three years as a dental officer* in Camp Lejeune, NC, and served thousands of deploying marines for their dental health.
*Zahra Hosseini, D05, was sworn in as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps May 14 on board the USS Constitution, berthed in the Charlestown Naval Yard. Rear Admiral Peter Andrus performed the swearing in. In attendance for the event in support of Hosseini were Robert Goode, Tufts professor and chair of oral and maxillofacial pathology and a retired Air Force colonel; John Blust, administrative coordinator for academic services at the dental school, RMC, U.S. Navy (ret.); and Jared Geller, D07, an ensign in the Navy.
Dr. Hosseini completed her residency in advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD). She completed active duty in 2008, at which time she moved to Bergen County with her husband and young son. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, andBergen County Dental Society.

I started as a dental assistant in 1997. I enjoyed the field so much that I continued my education to become a hygienist. I graduated in 2002 from Bergen Community College on the deans list, honor roll, and as class president. I love being a dental hygienist because I make people feel comfortable at the dentist office, and I like sharing my dental knowledge. I tell all my patients: healthy teeth and gums are a result of thorough but very gentle cleaning. Our patients make each day great; its a pleasure to see them enjoy their smiles again!

I was seeking a dentist in New Jersey and found Dr Hosseini's office. I made the call and was very impressed with Rachel her attitude, her knowledge and patience. Therefore I felt comfortable to book an appointment for myself and spouse. On the day of the appointments we were greeted warmly by Rachel and her colleague. The dental hygienist was very pleasant and very experienced. Dr Hosseini herself was very welcoming, patient and friendly. We now have a dental office filled with experience and warmth. I look forward to having and maintaining that same relationship with the team for years to come. Thank you ladies for taking care of me and Nigel.

Doc. Hosseini showed pics of my teeth and what treatment is required so that I was fully informed and aware of what was being done. The team continually checks on your pain threshold before proceeding. The whole team is friendly, professional and highly recommended.

Nested in Hackensack NJ, over 5 years I have been a patient of Dr. Zahra. My experience at the Dental office has always been impeccable service. The Customer service from her team is of high quality, you can surely expect warm and friendly staff. A very clean and organized environment.

Expert dentist and a great staff. Dr. Hosseini carefully explains what's going on with your teeth and gums, recommends treatments that make sense, and her execution of those treatments is flawless. Could not recommend her more highly - best dentist I've ever had, and I'm in my 70s.

I went for a deep cleaning and had a great experience with the Hygienist Alicia. She was very careful and made feel at easy talking to me and working tactfully to ensure I didn't feel any pain. And Dr. Hosseini, she's the most gracious dentist I've ever met.

I have always been afraid of the dentist, mainly due to the negative experiences I have had over the years. But Dr. Hosseni is wonderful. Her mannerism and personality is an understatement. She explains every part of your dental care so that you can understand. She is attentive and no doubt provides the upmost quality care. Not only Dr. Hosseni but her staff as well. I always feel like I am entering a friend's home instead of a dental office. And these are the reasons I keep going back.

Dr Zahra Hosseini is one of the most caring and amazing woman I've ever known. I was terrified of dentists my whole life and she changed me forever. She actually listened when I told her how uncomfortable I was being in that dentist chair but now not only do I not fear each appointment but I actually look forward to them. Not only her but her entire staff is warm and welcoming. I've gotten alot of work done in the last few years and each dollar was worth it. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go to her. Even her front desk help and hygienist treat me like family. They all work as a family and make sure you feel like you're part of that family. Choosing Dr Hosseini was the best choice I've ever made

Dr. Hosseini and her staff are very professional and all very friendly. They are also very good with kids and very understanding of people's situations. The facility is very clean. The waiting area has complementary drinks and is very cozy if patients need to wait (we rarely waited before being called). They take time with cleaning and other treatment and we never felt rushed when we are there. They have sooooo many flavors for the cleaning polish. They give out goodie bags every visit and toys for kids. Everyone is very positive over there and they make it a pleasure going to the dentist! Also I'm very impressed with their covid protocols. They have the protocols that I've seen from other places (mask, taking temp etc) but in addition to this, they have a separate room to receive patients, spray your hands to sanitize them, and open doors for you. I also appreciate that they call you to remind you of an upcoming appointment or if you haven't been in the office for a while. I think this really helps to make sure we are taking care of our teeth!

If I could give Dr. Hosseini and staff 100 stars I would. My family has gone to Dr. Hosseini for over 10 years, she and her staff have always done exceptional work, but on April 27th they went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. I was hit by a forklift and landed teeth first, we were over two hours away, Dr. Hosseini waited over an hour after closing to see me. She did an amazing job of emergency care, I believe I still have those teeth because of her. It is unfortunately rare to find someone who puts you before their own convenience, but that is what you get with Dr. Hosseini, she has so much integrity, regarding her work and she has also made sure that her staff has that same commitment. Everyone in the practice is so kind, and cares about your satisfaction. If you are looking for the best, Dr. Hosseini and staff is the practice for you. Thank you again, Dr. Hosseini and staff, I am forever grateful. 02/10/2009 Wonderful dentist, great staff, they are respectful of your fears and time. My children and I will never go anywhere else!
