Dr. Erick Hosaka is a fourth generation dentist from Peru, earning his MBA from Johns Hopkins University and becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry. He has been a dentist in Chevy Chase for 11 years.
Dr.Valerie Cassis graduated from University of Pennsylvanias School of Dental Medicine before completing a General Practice Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital outside of Philadelphia. Although a native New Englander, she is thrilled to now call Bethesda her home. In her free time, she loves trying new restaurants, drawing, crocheting and spending time with her beloved cat, Amelia.

Our patient coordinator is a strong believer that a stranger is a friend he has not met. With a diverse background in customer service, Victor aims to make all patients leave with a big smile and a lasting impression worthy of sharing with family and friends! A native Washingtonian, Victor enjoys the outdoors. He is always ready to help patients and speaks Spanish.
Samuel Sanni is an oral hygienist that graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. He enjoys playing the piano and practicing martial arts in his free time. Samuel, has a strong belief that every patient is different and prides himself in creating a unique and comfortable environment during every visit. He enjoys meeting new people and has a passion for entrepreneurship.

Great service. I went to Hosaka dental for the first time this week and it was great. There wasn't any wait time as I had already prefilled the documents online, the service was amazing, everyone was very professional, and they took the time to explain to me how my teeth are with a lot of detail. They did not try to sell me a service/product i don't need. Doctor Hosaka is great and the rest of the personel are too, I will definitely go back.

Rarely do I feel the urge to write a google review, but I was so surprised by how easy and enjoyable this experience was! Scheduling was easy as cake and everybody in the office was so kind. Can't recommend this place enough!

Wow! SO appreciative of Dr Cassis' kind gentle reassuring manner. Just what I needed! I needed a check on my crown and she made a quick adjustment with HOPE for future remediation should it not work. I have a long dental history so being REASSURED, knowing she had a plan for me was just AWESOME!!! Best ever

Called to make an appointment as a new patient, spoke to a female staff member, I believe her name was selina?? Her tone and attitude was not professional and she was not at all helpful in answering my questions. She also did not transfer my call to someone who could help when I requested multiple times.

I will never love going to the dentist, but if I have to go, I want to go to Dr. Hosaka. The staff is warm and friendly, Dr. Hosaka is kind and intelligent, and it is clear that the office invests in new, modern technology. The parking lot is a disaster, but after that, it is really a great experience.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing care from Dr.Hosaka. I have been going to his office for 4 years and every time I visit I feel the immense kindness and hospitality of their staff and himself. Dr.Hosaka is the kindest dentist I've ever met! I recently moved to NYC and had to return just to be seen by him. He truly cares for his patients and he is someone I trust wholeheartedly. If I could give him and his team 10 stars, I would because they truly deserve it!

I am 86 and have had many cavities and teeth pulled in my life. Going to a dentist was a worry as something always had to be fixed or pulled and more discomfort to be endured. I had been fitted with a partial denture bridge which I was not satisfied with. Then a few years ago, Dr. Hosaka, a consummate professional came into my life. Working with an oral surgeon, Dr. Hosaka removed my need of a partial denture by installing implants. I worried about the pain and discomfort of the coming tooth extraction and the installation of implants. Dr. Hosaka's team did a wonderful job of minimizing any of the discomfort and kept me constantly informed as to what they were doing through the whole process. I am very pleased with their process and the result. I would very much recommend Dr. Hosaka and his team and staff.

I was referred to Dr. Hosaka by Dr. Matin. As a new patient, I felt so welcomed. All the staff were super friendly. I received a welcome gift, was given a brief tour of the office, and when I was seated in the exam room, I was offered a comfort menu from which I could request water, a neck pillow, lip balm, Netflix, and more. When I met Dr. Hosaka, I felt like I was talking to someone I've known for a long time. He is so kind and attentive. I enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the office, and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

After years of receiving mediocre dental treatment from a variety of dentists in the DC area, the team at Hosaka Dental finally restored my faith. I've never had SUCH a pleasant dentist experience. Modern technology (seriously, so cool), lovely and knowledgable staff, and they also play Netflix for you during your session (a nice and needed distraction). Please stop looking elsewhere, these people are the best.

My experience with this office is honestly the best dental experience I have ever had - I mean, who looks forward to going to the dentist? The combination of the attentiveness of the entire staff, the competence of the doctors and their assistants plus the overall ambiance of the office itself make for a comfortable, trustworthy and, yes, enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

i am 93 years old and have visited many dentists for much work so I consider myself very much invested in how good or otherwise a dentist might be. I wish that I could have had a dentist like Dr. Hosaka years ago. His knowledge, his techniques are so far ahead of other dentists. Add to that his very positive attitude which immediately tells you that you are in good hands. He works quickly and there is no wasted motion which tells you that he sure knows what he is doing. Consider yourself fortunate if you end up as his patient.
