Dr. Maples grew up in Jacksonville and attended Episcopal High School before beginning his undergraduate education at Boston College. He graduated from Boston College in 2004 with a Biochemistry major and a History minor. He completed his dental education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he earned his D.M.D. degree in 2008. Seeking further training, Dr. Maples attend aGeneral Practice Residency at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. After completing this post-graduate education, Dr. Maples spent a year practicing in Milwaukee and returned to the Meriter Hospital residency program as a faculty member. Dr. Maples moved home to Jacksonville in August 2010 and practiced for two years in the Riverside area before he began practice with his brother, Brian. Dr. Maples has a passion for both dentistry and his patients, and he is routinely completing continuing education courses to ensure he is able to provide exceptional, quality care to everyone his is privileged to treat. Some of these courses included a four-month esthetic and cosmetic continuum and two individual six-month dental implant continuums. He would like to thank all of his family members, friends, teachers, instructors, mentors, partners, and colleagues as he would not be where he is today without them.

Dr. Maples is thrilled to be a member of the Jacksonville community and is grateful for the opportunity to practice in his hometown. He is very close with his family and thoroughly enjoys living near his parents who reside in Ponte Vedra. He and his brother are so excited to practice together this has been a lifelong dream of theirs that is now a reality! In addition to his family, Dr. Maples enjoys spending time with his friends every chance he can. He is a sports enthusiast and a huge fam of both the Jaguars, Boston College athletics. He enjoys participating in numerous athletic and outdoor activities he has managed to stay busy with general fitness, organized sports leagues, and completing three marathons since October 2011. In addition to athletics, he is a music lover, he loves to travel, loves spending time in the North Carolina mountains at the family cabin, and he is active in his church.

Dr. Maples married Lindsay - his best friend and dental school classmate - in June 2011. Lindsay is a pediatric dentist practicing in both Nocatee and Mandarin. Lindsay is an integral part of his life, and he looks forward to so many great memories and their future together. In January 2014, Dr. Maples and his wife welcomed their first baby, Maggie, to their family. In June 2016, their family continued growing when their son, Will, was born. Both Maggie and Will have been true blessings and extra special additions to their family - they certainly make every day interesting! Both Dr. Maples and his wife love their special family time together and watching their children grow. They are also kept busy with their dog Charley - a black lab mix.

Dr. Brian Maples, DMD Dr. Brian Maples was born in Minnesota and grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Dr. Maples attended the Episcopal School of Jacksonville and graduated in 2003. Despite his love for northeast Florida, Dr. Maples decided to move to New England after high school, where he attended Boston College and studied Biochemistry. It did not take long for him to fall in love with New England and he spent four additional years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Maples completed a General Practice Residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care/University of Vermont, in Burlington, VT.

Throughout all of his career, Dr. Maples has enjoyed learning and completing different dental procedures but above all he has appreciated being able to develop relationships with his patients. He enjoys and values staying current in all fields of dentistry by completing many continuing education courses including classes on topics like implant dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Maples married his college sweetheart, Alex, in 2012. Dr. Maples enjoys spending time with wife (Alex) and children (Roman - Born in 2014, Maria - Born in 2017, and Fitzpatrick - Born in 2021), and dog (BeeCee). Dr. Maples is an avid adventure racer, runner, and golfer. He loves traveling to the mountains of North Carolina and various National Parks.

Katie Robbins, CRDH was born in Connecticut and lived in New England her entire life. She married her high school sweetheart, Brandon, and they have three children, Ben, Sophia, and Emma. Katie devoted 12 years to animal medicine including veterinary technician, wildlife rehab and running a 501C3 animal rescue. In 2006 the family moved to Jacksonville to advance her husband's career. In 2007 Katie started a pet sitting business which she ran for 6 years before deciding to go back to college for a new career. Katie graduated from FSCJ's School of Dental Hygiene with honors and certification in local anesthesia. In her spare time, Katie enjoys living on the intercoastal with her family and 5 dogs. Fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and watching her children play travel soccer are some of her favorite pastimes. Katie's favorite part of dentistry is her volunteer work. Giving back to the community is a huge source of pride for her. She also loves the lasting relationships she creates with her patients, they really feel like family to her. She is very honored that they trust her to help guide them with improving their oral health.
