Dr. Doug Horton and Dr. Ben Horton are experienced professionals. In the summer of 2018, Dr. Robinson joined Horton Family Dental and moved his practice to our Cedar Rapids location. Dr. Robinson graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1977. He has been practicing dentistry in Cedar Rapids since 1977. Dr. Robinson has been an adjunct professor at the College of Dentistry for 41 years. He is a member of the Linn County Dental Society and the University District Dental Society. He is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Robinson enjoys gardening, cars, home maintenance and traveling with his wife Linda.

Dr. Ben Jacobson was born and raised on a farm near Humboldt, IA, completed his undergraduate degree at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, while studying Biology Neuroscience and playing baseball. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2021.

Carrie has been a Dental Assistant since 2001. She is married, has three busy kids and one cute dog! When she isnt at her childrens sporting events, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, making crafts and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes!

Katie has been with Horton Family Dental since the beginning of 2019. She loves building relationships with her patients and seeing them leave with a smile. While she is not at work, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and playing with her dog.

Kim M was inspired by her childhood dentist to study dental hygiene. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from The University of Iowa in 1985. Kim has worked for over 20 years at Horton Family Dental. She enjoys building relationships with patients. Her goal is to help her patients have a beautiful, healthy smile along with good overall health. Kim and her husband Pat have two grown children. Their son, Joe and his wife, Shelly, live in the Des Moines area. Their daughter, Mallory, lives in Des Moines as well.

Christine has spent her entire working career in the dental field. For the past 20 years, she has been a dental hygienist. She spends her free time on the many DIY projects she has at home. Her three active dogs keep her busy, along with gardening and her family.

Kasey has been with Horton Family Dental since 2017 as a Dental Hygienist. Kasey and her husband Matt reside in Marion with their two daughters Olivia and Makenna. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies, watching the Hawkeyes and spending time with her family. What Kasey enjoys most about her job is building relationships with her patients and helping improve and maintain their oral health.

Kim S has been involved in dentistry over 30 years, starting as a dental assistant and then returning to school for dental hygiene. She has been with Horton Family Dental since 1991. Kim values the patients at Horton Family Dental and the relationships that have been built over the yearssome are like family to her! She loves spending time with friends and family- she has 2 children that are both in college: Her son, Max, is attending The Ohio State University and her daughter, Gracie, is attending ISU. In her spare time, Kim likes to bike, be outside or be on the go!

Dawn began her career as a dental assistant before completing her dental hygiene degree 20 years ago. She is now putting her dental knowledge to use as one of our patient care coordinators. You will also see her providing quality care as a hygienist as needed. Dawn and her husband Steve reside and own a business in Marion. Together they have 8 children and 16 grandchildren. Her free time is spent with her family, baking, reading, and traveling.

At Horton Family Dental, Dr. Ben Horton performed a root canal for me. I had no pain at all. I never even felt the needle for the anesthetic.
