Dr. Gus Horsey graduated from theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School ofDentistryandwent on to complete his Post-Doctorate Masters of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodonticsat the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Horsey is a faculty member at the Bon Secours St. Marys Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program and has lectured nationally on several topics in orthodontics and digital technology. He is committed to excellence in patient care and enhancing his patients oral health, esthetics, and function. Dr. Horseystays active in local and national dental organizations and volunteers in the community. In his free time, Dr. Horsey enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with his wife Kim.

Everyone here is really nice. We always have the best experiences with Chip. She is very caring, thorough, and explains everything she is doing to my daughter and myself as she is doing it. She never gets frustrated, or acts like she is in a rush. We love her and our experience at Horsey each time.

My daughter had braces five years ago , braces came off she had to wear a retainer at night . Five years later they finally cracked. In November 2021 took her back to get retainer $500 said it should last five years, this is June 2022 and they already cracked, seven months later. When we called the office to let them know they told us that they are not guaranteed now all of a sudden they're not guaranteed and they want another $500. I do not recommend this place, they will rip you off. We will go to Dr. Lee in Midlothian and get her a retainer. UPDATE: Went to Dr Lee and Dr Blackburn We were told the retainer we got from Dr. Horsey was very thin and cheap. We ordered from Dr. Lee this time received four pairs for $600 compared to one very thin cheap pair for $500 from Horsey

Very friendly and professional for regularly scheduled appointments. However, if something breaks and you need an unplanned appt to correct it, expect to wait a week or more to get in.

My son went to Henrico location, and everyone was very friendly , and made him really comfortable, mostly he got a awesome dentist her name was shakiera she was very nice and patient with my son really enjoyed her positivity and good vibes !!

There are absurd fees! Don't dare be late for an appointment or they will cancel even if you are in the parking lot. Unimpressed!

I don't have much to compare it to. I would've liked for them to prep me a bit more on what my experience would be today in the scan to get braces. But I definitely trust them.

What a great orthodontic practice. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating. They have helped me through the process and has made me feel as comfortable as possible. The new inbrace has been a winner in my mind and is allowing me to smile with confidence for the first time in my life. Thank you Dr. Horsey and staff.

Wow! I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. Horsey and his staff. I've been fortunate to be a patient there since 2018 and they have always been attentive, lighthearted and always fun! The level of customer service that Horsey Orthodontics delivers is truly unmatched and I would recommend this office to anyone looking to enhance there smile...! Dr. Horsey and his staff are a great and caring team that will work with you to get what needs to be done, done. They do a wonderful job at all time and there isn't anywhere i would rather have gone for help with my teeth. If you or one of your staff members is reading this thank you for the help so far over the pass five or so years and the year to come. Keep it up the great work and i'll see you on my next appointment.

This was our first time at this office but have been seeing Dr. Horsey and his dental staff at another office on Orthodontic day. We love him and his staff. They are always smiling and courteous and friendly and they even tolerate and "occupy" my youngest daughter who can be quite the handful! My older daughter who is the patient is feels comfortable and safe in the care of Dr. Horsey and his staff. We have told so many of family and friends about them. I have even told a friend of my daughter's who has been having issues with her dentist. They are the best!

The staff was very patient and friendly. I was nervous to get braces the but the staff explained everything that they were doing every step of the way and checked in with me to make sure I was okay during the installation of my braces. I truly appreciate this office and the work that they do. I highly recommend this orthodontist office for anyone seeking braces!
