Dr. Gus Horsey graduated from theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School ofDentistryandwent on to complete his Post-Doctorate Masters of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodonticsat the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Horsey is a faculty member at the Bon Secours St. Marys Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program and has lectured nationally on several topics in orthodontics and digital technology. He is committed to excellence in patient care and enhancing his patients oral health, esthetics, and function. Dr. Horseystays active in local and national dental organizations and volunteers in the community. In his free time, Dr. Horsey enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with his wife Kim.

I had the most horrible experience today. I will add that I was running late due to unfortunate circumstances. The doctor assisted that since I was late I couldn't get not ONE but TWO brackets replaced because it took to long and I'd have to schedule another appointment since I was late and they had lunch. This is my second time using a ortho(once as a kid) and they always replaced brackets no matter what over here all they do is bond it with glue. I can tell my teeth are retracting to how they were once before I even had this done which is HORRIBLE. I have never had a horrible experience at horsey orthodontics I honestly thought they were the best before until today. even my dentist recommended them and I have recommended patients to them. Me being highly hurt and devastated is an understatement.

Everyone in the office has been friendly, from the docs to the other staff. My daughter has been in "invisalign" trays with them for awhile now. We always have issues with attachments coming off, buttons coming off, etc so adjustments have had to be made and things keep having to be fixed ...her teeth are looking better but the process has been trying, for sure. She's still got some time to go for treatment, so we are hoping for the best for the rest.

We absolutely love the Horsey orthodontics team!! Believe it or not My Kids are always excited to come visit! Morgan in particular is awesome with kids :) I would recommend Horsey orthodontics over and over again!!

Since I will be applying to dental school in a few years, I wanted to have the best smile possible. I've been going to Horsey since June. Everyone is so pleasant and warm from the front desk ladies, to Amber, and especially to Thy who is the inbrace champ. :) Dr. Horsey and his team are truly the best in VA. Plus, I've already seen so much improvement in my smile!
