Dr. Eddy W. Sherman was born and raised in Haynesville, Louisiana. Dr. Sherman graduated from Haynesville high school in 1964 and attended college at Northwestern in Natchitoches before being accepted to dental school in 1967. He graduated in 1971 from Loyola University of the South in New Orleans. Dr. Sherman came to Homer, Louisiana in 1971 and practiced for 15 years before moving his practice (Sherman Dental Clinic) to his home in Summerfield to practice another 20 years. He retired in 2006 after his son, Eddy W Sherman II, took over his practice. In 1979 he married his wife, Kate Goocher Sherman. Dr. Sherman and Mrs. Kate have five children: Kayla, Jamie, Shed, BoDixie, Samanna and eleven grandchildren: Gavin, Reid, Sage, Stihl, Adila, Kianne, Slade, Jersey, Kyper, Collins and Nola Kate. Dr. Sherman loves spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing/talking baseball.

Good dentist but should really be more nice. Whenever they do my teeth I have bad anxiety so I panic and can't control it at all. Instead they think it would be a good idea to catch an attitude on me. They keep on bouncing me around to new dentist's all because of me panicking so much. They don't even try to give me a chance or at least try to prescribe me with medicine to help calm me down during surgery. I can't help for how I feel. They are very good dentist's but they should be more nice and use more common sense whenever it comes to patents like me. Some people with bad anxiety can't help control on how they feel. Please be more calming and nice to patents like me. If we really bother y'all that much then prescribe us with medicine besides kicking them out of the system like trash, very simple.

We was referred by a Close Friend...We love the Staff and service....They are VERY NICE, PATIENT, and WILL GET THE JOB DONE!!!!! If your looking for a good cleaning, dental work or etc.... I would Definitely & HIGLY RECOMMEND Horse Shoe Dental.....Thanks Again for your EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!! #GOD BLESS

This is such a great dentistry practice. The staff is very friendly and they care about their patients. I have moved 1000 miles away and still come here for my dental services.

Shed and great staff for being courteous an professional also i like to thank Bo Dixie for taking her valuable time to help me my car was wrecked an in body shop i was running behind for appointment walking to clinic to get tooth pulled an she picked me up an brought me there i was real sick an she took time to get me thats dedication to job an being a great Christian , Horseshoe dental most caring dental clinic i' ve been .

Really pleased with Dr. Sherman. Honest and direct guy that helped me with a problem caused when another dentist at another clinic was unable to finish a root canal properly. Dr. Sherman is personable and smart and your visits are only as long as they need to be. All in all, impressive. Only downside is dental work is super expensive --I wish there was a bulk discount. That being said, when you pay for dental work you want the best. When you're dealing with Dr. Sherman you get a caring, bright professional that cares about your oral health. He walks you through your options and works to help you see the whole picture. I am thrilled that I found Horseshoe Dental - I need to ask about that name though :)
