Dr. Warren Eng earned his dental degree from the University of Maryland Dental School after receiving his bachelors degree from the University of Maryland. He is among 5% of practicing general dentists in the country to achieve Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.) by completing more than 1,000 hours of continuing education and passing a rigorous written exam. He also maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New York State Dental Association, Sixth District Dental Society of the State of New York, and Chemung County Dental Society.

Dr. Eng has taken numerous postgraduate courses, specifically those focused on comprehensive restorative, endodontic (root canal), and aesthetic dentistry. His most recent training in CEREC allows him to offer single-visit crowns, inlays, and onlays to give you the smile you desire.

His commitment to lifelong education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide you with the best results in the least-invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care both today and tomorrow.

Laurie is the first person you will meet when you enter our practice. She will always greet you with a smile and a warm welcome. She joined our practice in 2007 and has more than 30 years of dental experience working at the front desk

Family is most important to Laurie. When she is not working, you will find her surrounded by her husband Jim, daughter Liz and son-in-law John, son Patrick and daughter-in-law Adrienne, and her four grandchildren. In the summer, they can be found on their boat floating around Keuka Lake.

Amy began working at our practice in 2001 after earning her A.A.S. degree in dental hygiene from Broome Community College. She is a registered dental hygienist, licensed and board-certified in New York state. She is also certified in administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, as well as CPR. She is passionate about dental health and its effects on overall health.

With 20 years of clinical experience providing routine dental care and therapeutic periodontal procedures to patients of all ages, Amy makes patients feel comfortable and educates them on maintaining good oral health. Amy grew up locally and resides in Horseheads with her husband and their three children.

Anna is a native of the Elmira/Horseheads area. She graduated from Southside High School, where she also completed her dental assisting certification through Greater Southern Tier BOCES. She then ventured on to Buffalo, NY, and attended Erie Community College for her Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene.

After completing her degree in Buffalo, Anna followed her heart back to Elmira to be close to her family, which includes her parents, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Biking and running are two of Annas favorite hobbies while she also enjoys do-it-yourself projects and interior decorating.

A graduate of Horseheads High School, Jamie completed the dental assisting program at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. She joined our practice as a dental assistant in 2012 and went on to earn her board certification in dental assisting and her certification in restorative functions, allowing her to expand her skills to include performing restorative dentistry. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Jamie serves as a clinical team leader and has extensive knowledge of the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry.

Jamie is a native of Horseheads, where she resides with her husband and two young sons. When she is not at work, she spends her time being with her family, working out at the gym, running, or reading a book.

Heather is a graduate of Broome Community College with an A.A.S degree in dental hygiene and joined our practice in 2019. During her career spanning over 20 years, she has worked in various types of practices, including those specializing in periodontics and orthodontics. With a commitment to excellence and dedication to continuing education, she consistently delivers quality care for our patients.

Heather and her husband have two grown children who have left home to pursue their own passions. Their two dogs help fill her leisure time. She enjoys camping, boating and other amenities of the Finger Lakes region.

Here at Horseheads Dental, we take preventive care seriously and believe prevention is the best way to help our patients protect their teeth and gums from disease. By detecting potential problems at their earliest, patients can often achieve better treatment results and experience lower dental costs. For most people that begins by visiting our dental hygienist twice a year. Patient education is the cornerstone to our preventive program. We believe a well-educated patient is better able to take care of themself and be able to utilize the correct tools and techniques to achieve a lifetime of trouble-free oral health.
