Dr. Justin Horne and Dr. Joshua Miner are dedicated to providing the best pediatric dental care to children in East Texas. Their main goal is to connect with the patients. Treating dental disease is only part of what they wish to accomplish. Helping children grow into adults that enjoy visiting the dentist is more important. They realize every child is different and different approaches are often needed to help kids have a positive dental experience.
Dr. Horne and Dr. Miner have been practicing together for over eight years. Their treatment philosophies and goals are very similar. They are both fathers and are close friends outside of the office. All these factors led them to build their dream practice together.

*Beware of "emergency" charges* My child has a piece of equipment in her mouth and it seemed loose so I called for an appointment. I called on a Tuesday and made an appointment for the following Monday (none emergent just an equipment check). We spent 40 minutes in the waiting room and the dr looked at her for 2 minutes to tell us everything was fine and it was just a piece of extra cement that had come loose. I then was charged an $80 fee for an emergency visit. When I asked why this was considered an emergency I was told any time you come to have the dr look at the equipment it's an emergency charge (unless it is to remove the equipment). There is no billing code for a simple equipment check (like the $15 charge we received at the pediatric dentist I took my other child to). I understand an emergency fee-- when it's after hours, or an appointment made for the same day because of pain etc. totally understand but to not have a billing code for a simple check and to instead charge for an emergency visit is ridiculous and a bit dishonest.

Always great! Everyone is so nice and they make you feel welcome. They know you by name and they are great with kids. I would recommend them to everyone that has children.

Staff is always nice, friendly and carry warm smiles from the start of the visit until we leave. My children have been going here for years and a lot of the employees have been there since my kids were about knee high, my oldest is almost 17. Just love the atmosphere and setting that they have! 5 stars

Best of the best! Dr. Horne has been our kids dentist since for 12 years and counting.Never been disappointed every visit has been very pleasant for the kids and everyone is so nice! If your looking for a dentist for your little ones, then look no more.

I'm so upset, they called me yesterday to confirm my appointment for today 4/7/22 and they said they will call back to let me know if they were going to be open because they water issue in our area. And they never called back. I assumed that they were open, and proceed to take my kids out of school drove 30 minutes just to find out they were closed. This is not acceptable.

My son had some work done in his teeth and he had to use laughing gas and Dr Horne was so nice to my son dj and I thank him for the work he did.for. my son

As always, we received excellent care from Dr. Horne, his dental assistants, and office staff. They are all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and kind. They even went out of the way to give a quick, pretend exam to my toddler who was wanting to be seen like her older siblings.

Always great with the kids and lovely facilities! My only complaint is that they did $133 worth of x-rays and charged me at the end without asking permission before doing them.

Absolutely love Dr. Horne! I've been bringing my child here for 9 years! He's an amazing person which makes him an amazing dentist! The staff members are wonderful and helpful! Love this office!
