Love Dr Schmitt, I followed her from her previous location and couldn't be happier. This office is way better than her last one, it's clean and spacious. The staff are all knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommended it!

Least amount of pain ever experienced at a Dental Office ever. Didn't even know DR Chris was giving me a shot. Staff knocked it out of the park.

Super cool people there. Who likes to go to the Dentist? From the gal at the front desk to the dentist. Great folks. Felt real comfortable with the dentist and the person who cleaned my teeth. Great experience.

Friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Horizon ridge dental is my favorite dentist office to go to because the staff are always so comfortable to be around. They have some of the best dental hygienists, and every dentist I've experienced in this location has had the best bedside manner when it comes to teeth. They have helped me overcome my fear of dentist visits and taught me so much about how to take care of my mouth. On top of that they have also provided options and alternatives in case I didn't have insurance. If you do not have insurance just ask the person at the front desk and they are very informative of what you can do and how much things will cost.

Note: Apologies in advance for the long review. I have been going to Horizon Ridge Dental since 2019 for dental cleanings. The initial doctor and hygienist I was seeing are no longer at this practice. In 2022, I've had especially bad customer service experiences. In March 2022, I was supposed to be scheduled for my regular dental cleaning. The appointment was scheduled over the phone. I took time off from work to be able to make it and as always, I had marked the appointment on my calendar. When I arrived, I was told that I "do not have an appointment and there is no way that I could have an appointment since it has been less than 6 months since my last visit". It had been a year since my last appointment. When checking again, the front desk lady was able to locate the last appointment and confirm that it had been well over 6 months. I was told that I would be "worked in" which I was happy about. Not knowing that it would take 2 hours in total with my appointment. Had I known it would take this long, I likely would have went somewhere else or scheduled another time. In August 2022, I had a scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, I was not going to be able to make the appointment as I am outside of the country. I didn't want the appointment to go to waste and called Horizon Ridge on the day of the appointment to let them know that my brother will go in instead of me. The same lady for which I waited 2 hours in March told me that for my brother "90 minutes would be needed and my appointment is only scheduled for 60 minutes". I asked her what is procedurally different for new vs. existing patients. She refused to answer the question twice, attempting to just get me off the phone in a very rude manner. Finally, she said that a more extensive consultation is required and x-rays. I've never had an appointment for a dental cleaning at Horizon Ridge Dental without x-rays or a consultation. So, essentially the appointment is the same but may require additional time for processing documents which the front desk refused to do. After more attitude from her, I scheduled an appointment for my brother for October 2022. I asked for a callback from the office manager, Jennifer. Jennifer did not call me back by the time of the appointment. My brother went in because I wanted to speak to her. He was turned away saying that Jennifer would give me a call back by end of day. This was at 2:00PM PST which was 12:00AM local time for me (GMT+3). I called Horizon Dental again and finally spoke to Jennifer. She told me that I had been "rude to her girl and have been late to every appointment that I have had with them since 2019". That is absolutely not true. I have never been late to an appointment and I asked if they record their calls. She said "yes, I listened to the recordings". Once again, not true. I had one call with the front lady ahead of the appointment so there couldn't have been "recordings". Also, Horizon Ridge Dental does not record phone calls. If they do, they should be giving notice of that, otherwise it is illegal in the state of Nevada to record a conversation without consent. Also, if there was an actual recording, Jennifer would understand how rude the front desk lady was and wouldn't not back her up unconditionally. Jennifer also shared that this is her first day back from a death in her family and and that she "cannot deal with me". I was informed by her that my brother and I are dismissed from the practice. I myself am out of the country due to a terminally ill family member and have much sympathy for her case. However, she should take more time off for herself instead of projecting what she is dealing with personally to patients. I am not sure why my brother was dismissed from the practice but I was able to immediately find another dental office that also had appointment weeks out. They were able to take him in next day as a work-in, without me even having to ask for it! My advice - Go somewhere where patients are appreciated and treated with professionalism. Horizon Ridge Dental is not that place.

Went to this practice recently for routine cleaning. Dental hygienist was friendly and professional (as was Dr. Goodman). I've been going to this location for 11 years. Never had a bad experience.

Personable, integrity, quality, and family oriented. They always treat you like your getting the "friends and family" quality of service in every way. They always give you honest and accurate information to help you make the best decisions for your plan. I drive 30 minutes to go here. It is worth it!

Myself and my wife have been going to this dentist for years. Out insurance has always pay our expenses. Last week we were notified by our insurance carrier that Horizon Ridge cancelled there coverage with Horizon Ridge. We were charged $287 for my wife's cleaning. When we contacted Jennifer she advised it was up to us to check our coverage not them. I asked her why then if we were not covered did she bill our insurance. We have yet to received a bill from there office but Jennifer advise they would turn us over to collections if we failed to pay. This before we even received a bill. We will NEVER go to this dentist again. I must say, everyone except Jennifer was very nice.

I really like their upfront payment policy. Paying for services before they are rendered makes for a more relaxing service experience. No surprises on the way out the door. A welcome change to the typical stressful medical office exit.
