Dental Implants: Dental implants are a versatile restorative option for patients with one or more missing teeth. Implants are titanium posts that are surgically inserted into the jawbone. They fuse with the bone and offer strength and stability to the smile. Dental implants are capped off with dental crowns that look and feel like natural teeth. Patients can receive single implants or multiple implants which stabilize dental bridges and dentures. Some patients can receive All-On-Four, a treatment that uses four or more implants to secure an arch of missing teeth.

Invisalign: As an alternative to traditional metal braces, Invisalign comfortably realigns the smile. Invisalign uses clear aligners that are worn for 22 hours a day and switched out every few weeks as the teeth shift. Patients may remove their Invisalign aligners to eat and brush their teeth, so there are no dietary restrictions that come with this treatment. We recommend Invisalign to patients that have mild to moderate orthodontic problems.

Endodontics: Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that offers dental treatments to address the health of the inside of the tooth. Infected dental pulp, made up of nerves and tissue, can affect the strength and health of the whole tooth. Root canal treatments are endodontic treatments that remove infected nerves and tissues from within teeth. After the infection is removed, teeth are cleaned and sealed to prevent reinfection.

Janell is always my favorite. I love coming to Horizon Family Dental they take care of me. My 2 implants look amazing Dr. C is the best. She always checks to make sure you are comfortable. I'm so happy I have my smile back 1 more implant to go I'm going to be smiling, smiling with confidence. So, so happy don't know why I waited so long, it was an easy process. Just waiting for everything to heal properly.

Staff is always friendly! I have been afraid of any dentist office but, they always make me feel at ease, their smiles, the caring look on their faces when they are treating whatever issue you are having is always comforting for me! Love this team!

I had a filling come off and I was leaving out of town Monday morning for work. I called Horizon mid-morning Friday and they scheduled me to come in Saturday at 1130am. Due to several can cancelations, I was contacted to come in earlier. I got to Horizon where I was seen by the dentist fairly quick. I explained my situation and they fixed my problem. Everyone from the front desk, the dental assistant and dentist were very helpful in every way. Thank you for your help and making my trip worry free of any dental issues!

I have never been to a dental office before where I have felt so welcome until my first visit with Horizon Family Dental Care in La Plata. The staff, the atmosphere and the service is beyond outstanding!! The office is very clean. I can't say enough how thankful I am!!

Everyone was very helpful especially helping me find out insurance information which was difficult getting through on how to pay but they got the job done and most importantly everyone was helpful when it was time for surgery they were very kind helping me with my grand baby , excellent customer service I definitely recommend this place to everyone !

Love this place! They got my boys and myself in for new patient appointments and cleanings same day. They were quick and efficient. Very informative and great with treatment planning. I am happy to call them or new family dentist.

This is the best dentist office I've ever been in. I can't choose one staff member because they are all outstanding. I would recommend this office to everyone. They are attentive and knowledgeable. They seem to really care about my needs as well as my family. I'm blessed that they opened the practice in La Plata.

I don't write reviews but I had to this time! I had a 7 am appointment and they were there on time to welcome and greet me! The entire staff at Horizon Dental La Plata rocks! From Brian at the front desk who worked so hard to get me an appointment with my crazy schedule, to Ashley who provided options for me to get the additional services I needed, to Janelle who patiently took my x-rays, to Shannon who gently cleaned my teeth, and top it off with Dr. C who followed up with me after my appointment and gave me recommendation s. The staff is professional, friendly, courteous and the office beautiful, neat and clean. First impressions are lasting impressions! Thank you!

This facility was meticulous. In addition, every team member was courteous and true professionals. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a positive experience with their dental needs. Shout out to Ashley - very welcoming and extremely thorough in explaining my insurance details. Dr. C explained the entire process clearly and took her time answering all of my questions. The entire experience was top notch!
