EXPERIENCE: Opened private practice in November 1976 in El Cajon, California. Solo practice from 1976-1986. As a result of bilateral hand surgeries began group practice in 1986 and now practices as owner/operator of Horizon Dental Group which includes multiple general dentists as well as an in house group of specialists which consists of an Orthodontist(Braces), Oral Surgeon(Wisdom Teeth) Pedodontist(Kids) and Endodontist(Root Canals). With our group of general dentists as well as specialists we provide complete family dentistry with the convenience of all doctors at one facility. We also have 2 in-house full time high quality laboratory technicians.

I have just received new dentures here. Nela, made me the nicest looking and very well fitting dentures. I can eat so well, ate my first cashews in years. So much nicer than my previous ones. I wish I could post a picture.

They don't clean your teeth very well used to too About four years ago and they're deep cleaning it is really not a deep cleaning I don't need a shot or nothing Done in five minutes I don't even know how to floss your teeth so I end up doing it going To work They're only good worker is the x-ray man he's been there a long time nobody else

The staff at Horizon Dental Group are extremely nice and care about how you will look once you've finished with their services. I appreciate that.

After reading the reviews I decided to check this place out. Yes the building is a little older, but the service was really good. The staff was really great. Just because the facility can use a make-over does not mean the service is not good. I will keep going.

This place is great but just one person made it not the best experience for me the first time i was here he was one of the assistants that get U in he was super rude to me where's your customer service cause he has none the way he talks to u I'm pretty sure that's not how u suppose to talk customers .He was getting super impatient with me on the other hand Dr. G was great very helpfull very friendly I would definitely recommend him.

Paid for a filling and a cleaning they ripped me off said I got the filling did a partial cleaning didn't clean well. So the money I paid for my filling was for the cleaning that I got DONT USE THIS OFFICE

Wornong do not go here unprofessional and veryyyy rude been there few times and everytime is bad and this time they had the nerve to tell me they can't take me the day of my appointment and they were trying to give me another appointment a week after they are the worst do not waste your time and money here they should get closed down the place is not clean either

After waiting way too long for getting extractions (2 yrs +) I can say that the 2 dentists, Dr G & Dr R, I saw here were outstanding, had great bedside manner & gently & calmly got this overwhelmed anxious 65 yr old crybaby thru without ANY significant pain!! Thank you so much as I'd been enduring pain for sooo long I didn't think I could take it much longer. Life feels better today thanks to their outstanding & compassionate dentists & staff (Nikki)!!

The worst dentist in East County/SD. Dr Garafalo who only evaluate patients teeth have his workers do his patients dental work for him and they're probably not even qualified to do the job. The whole staff including Dr Garafalo half-butt everything they do. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY! Contact your insurance to see if they cover dentist in your area.

I haven't really had a bad experience here. One filling literally seemed like it took minutes to do so I was pretty impressed by that. Not sure what doctor that was though. I had teeth x-rays, some fillings, cleanings. The cleanings didn't seem very thorough compared to other places I've had cleanings but it wasn't a bad experience for me. This place is also just down my street.
