The Horizon Dental Care team is a group of dedicated dentists and dental professionals who are passionate about helping patients leave our office with a smile. Our work focuses on your needs, and were here to provide you with compassionate, quality dental care.
Dr. Mughrabi moved with his family to the U.S. to complete a masters degree in prosthodontics from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he also served as a clinical assistant. Dr. Mughrabi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with high honors from Damascus University College of Dentistry in 2002. He then volunteered with Red Cross, providing dental care for refugees for four years.
In his continual pursuit of excellence, Dr. Mughrabi takes numerous hours of continuing education and hands-on courses, and attends lectures about the latest dental advancements. He is dedicated to providing outstanding dental care, making sure each and every one of his patients has the best dental experience possible and that their dental health is in good hands.
Dr. Mughrabi currently resides in Round Rock, TX with his wife, Rasha, and his children, Judi and Jad. His interests include attending social and community events, traveling, playing basketball, swimming, and biking.
Dr. Guirguis received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She holds a Certificate of Preceptorship in Prosthodontics from the University of Texas at Houston, specializing in esthetic restorations like veneers, implant crown/bridge, and implant-supported dentures. Dr. Miriam Guirguis is also certified to correct mild and moderate tooth alignment problems with Invisalign.
Dr. Guirguis has a unique, personable approach to dentistry. Her dedication to providing the highest level of care and describing treatment needs in detail helps her quickly gain the trust of her patients.
Shannon has been a registered dental hygienist for over 24 years. She graduated from WSU with an associates degree in dental hygiene and a bachelors degree in health science. She lives on a ranch with her husband and their four dogs. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and creating new dishes.
Cathy is a registered dental hygienist and has worked in the industry for many years. After attending Abilene Christian College, she completed dental hygiene school in 1973 and has practiced ever since. In her free time, she enjoys making beaded jewelry, watching her favorite show (The Voice) on television, going to gem shows, and spending time with her three sons and five grandsons.
Lucretia, Lu, has worked in Georgetown since 2000 as an insurance coordinator. She has four beautiful children and enjoys family gatherings, Texas BBQs, and Texas football. She also enjoys listening to live music, dancing, and reading a good book. She will help you with all your questions about insurance and payments.

Went in for a cleaning after basically 3 years (partly due to pandemic), teeth in pretty bad shape. Kathy, one of the hygienists there, took care of me. I don't usually get emotional (or really write google reviews) but seeing the results of my teeth after she was done almost brought me to tears. Complete 180 degrees, I can smile with confidence again. The doctor and other staff were excellent too. I have my next scheduled cleaning in 6 months, couldn't be happier or more excited for the next one. Highly recommend this dentist.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A FEAR OF THE DENTIST OR ANY ANXIETY ABOUT PROCEDURES. I was scheduled with Miriam Guirguos for two wisdom teeth extractions. I have always had a lot of anxiety regarding any dental issues stemming from bad childhood experiences. This procedure was very hard to do for me, but I needed it. When she entered the room, I had tears in my eyes from nerves, and she said " do you even want to do this today?" In a very impatient, blunt way.. I said "I'm here and ready, I'm just nervous".. to which she responded "you can just leave if you want to"..... that put a sick feeling in my stomach. It's not an uncommon thing to be nervous about dental procedures, and the way she was talking to me seemed so rude and unsympathetic it was shocking. She then offered to reschedule and add sedation, but I really just needed to get it done then because I had been in pain for quite a while. Overall I felt like she was rude, unsympathetic and unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially if they have any anxiety about the dentist.

10/10, 5 stars2, huzzahs all around! I've been terrified of the dentist and hadn't been in several years. Dr. G. And her fantastic staff changed all that. The environment is professional and welcoming, everyone there has top notch communication skills. They listen to you and lay out a clear plan to get your smile looking like you want it to. I can't begin to express enough what a positive experience going there is. I can't imagine going anywhere else, never thought I'd be saying this but I'm excited to go back. Thank you Dr. G and all the people who work there, y'all truly made a huge difference in my life, I'm looking forward to smiling more. Thank you.

I got a tooth extracted last week. I've had one extracted by them before and it went really well. This time they were just as awesome. Very nice, not a long wait (I literally called that morning and they squeezed me in), and they could tell i was nervous so they suggested nitrous. They told me what all expenses would be before they started. They also ended up filling two cavities. Overall the experience was quick and easy. I hate going to the dentist, but I scheduled a deep clean for next month because they're so nice and I'm assured it will.be as painless as possible. Definitely recommend.

I have literally been passing out every time I visit a dentist, and for them to work on my teeth they have to put me under anesthesia. After 36 years Dr. Miriam Guirguis, did the the miracle, managed my anxiety very well and did the job perfectly. I would 100 stars for the the office staff as well as the Dentist. THANK YOU * This is not just adult-friendly dentistry, it's kids' best dental work visit (10 years old son perspective)

Great first visit. I feel bad, may have forgotten her name that did the cleaning (Holly maybe?) but I felt like she did it as if she was cleaning her own. Dr. G took the time to walk through every X-ray, explained exactly what she saw and made sure I didn't have any additional questions. Very pleasant visit (bonus:: first time there and still got me in exactly at my apt time, all paperwork was done before arriving and they already contacted my insurance prior:: props to whoever did that, ty!)

I went to clean my teeth at another dentist who sadly detach a bridge I had. I had to then fine another to have it fixed. And what a blessing it was to find Horizon. From the moment I entered I felt cared for! Dr G's bedside manner is gentle, kind and reassuring. I felt totally taken care of. Not only was she kind, but is is clear she takes her time to hire her staff! Everyone was great.....I was going away on vacation and had a problem with a filling I had done long before, they where close and can you believe it, Dr G came back and opened the doors for just me!!!!!! She fixed that tooth and Jamaica was amazing...I wish I could give this practice 100 stars...AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!

Horizon was recommended by a neighbor when we first moved in, and we have had extremely positive experiences with Dr. G and the rest of the staff. When I needed something outside of routine care they got me in and all fixed up within a day.

I am a patient of Dr G for over 6 years. She is kind, skilled and a good listener. Last week she went above and beyond to accommodate me for an emergency procedure. I am very thankful for her care and attention. Anesthesia part was painless and easy. Honestly I didn't even notice that I had a shot. Yay Thank you Dr G and her whole team! Amazing work.

Horizon Dental Care is the best! I've never had to wait long for my appointments, even when arriving early, and have always had nothing but the best experiences with all dentists and staff. For regular teeth cleaning to tooth extractions and everything in between, I highly recommend them!
