Dr. Amelia Hopper leads the team at Hopper Dental. Providing personalized care to each of her patients is of utmost importance. Dr. Hopper is a Tulsa native. She graduated from Holland Hall High School, went on to receive a degree in Zoology and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma, and finally, attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduating in 2011. Dr. Hopper has taken advanced courses in Invisalign, full mouth reconstruction, bone grafting, dental implants, and cosmetic and preventative dentistry. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Tulsa County Dental Society, and is focused on constantly improving her skill set. Dr. Hopper is married to her husband, John, and together they have two little boys, Elliott and Lawson.
A few of the qualities that are important to Dr. Hopper as she leads her team are compassionate dental care, loyalty, trust, constant improvement, and a friendly yet professional atmosphere. Upon visiting the office, you can witness each of these qualities in practice through each member of the Hopper Dental team. Dr. Hopper is compassionate and caring, yet incredibly thorough. Knowledgeable and honest, Dr. Hopper strives to create a personalized plan of care that suits each patients needs while ensuring their comfort. Building trust with each patient is of great importance to her. Because of this, you can be sure that she will never suggest a dental service that is not beneficial or necessary to your overall health.
Flossing reduces the number of bacteria in your mouth. There are millions of these microscopic creatures feeding on food particles left on your teeth. These bacteria live in plaque which can be removed by flossing. Brushing your teeth gets rid of some of the bacteria in your mouth. Flossing gets rid of the bacteria the toothbrush cant reach.
Always spend two to three minutes brushing your teeth. It takes that long to get rid of the bacteria that destroy tooth enamel. Do not brush too hard. It takes very little pressure to remove bacteria and plaque. Floss at least once a day. Flossing is the only way to get bacteria from between your teeth.

Awesome dentist and outstanding staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable and professional and friendly. My dental hygienist is by far the best I have ever had, and I am 60 years old.

I haven't been to the dentist in 7 years. So I was nervous about going. Afraid of what issues my teeth may have and of judgment. But literally everyone there was so nice! If you haven't gone to the dentist in a while, the staff here weren't judgmental at all. Like I said they were very nice. They also explained everything they were doing and what my treatment plan was in a way that I understood. I'm definitely glad I chose to go here.

It was my first time to see Dr Hopper and have my teeth cleaned. I really liked Tristan who cleaned my teeth. Dr. Hopper was very friendly and very through. I was quite pleased with my experience.

Dr Hopper and hygienist are great. I have had a few cavities filled and they did a great job. Unfortunately, 2 star review is left because the front desk staff was not open and honest on whether or not their office is in network with Aetna. They only told me they file with Aetna which led me to believe i was receiving in network discounts and billed as such. Im pretty disappointed with this as i have built a relationship with Dr. HOPPER and cori the hygienist only to have to leave their practice and find one that is in network with Aetna. I just wish the office staff was being truthful with me from the beginning on their out of network status with Aetna.
