Dr. Judy McIntyre then attended theHarvard School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her DMD degree. During her years at Harvard, she performed research on dental unit waterline biofilms, in conjunction with a UCLA dental school professor; this research won many awards. After graduation, Dr. McIntyre obtained a coveted endodontics residency position at theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alongside renowned researchers in the field of endodontics, traumatology and pediatric dentistry, her thesis and research regarding traumatic dental injuries (her true passion and great interest) was published in numerous professional journals.
Dr. McIntyre worked in private practice in the south before returning to Massachusetts in 2009and eventually opening this office in 2016. Having completed the Massachusetts Dental Society Leadership Institute, sheis currently completing the ADA Diversity in Leadership Institute. She resides locally with her family and rescue dog. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends when shes not in the office.

We were referred to Dr McIntyre for my ten year old son's root canal and can not say enough good things about our experience. I recently had a root canal done at Hopkinton Endodontics and their entire team did an outstanding job. Dr. McIntyre was extremely thorough during my initial consultation and very reassuring during the actual procedure. Her assistant Karsyn also made this experience an easy one as well. Our 9 year old daughter suffered some dental trauma to her front tooth which now needs some regeneration treatment... as she is so young and her front teeth are a major part of her smile, we will do anything to save it! After meeting Dr. McIntyre she has put my worries to ease. She is extremely knowledgeable, not to mention amazing with children. She and Karsyn made my daughter feel so special and comfortable during her treatment. As a parent, what more can you ask for? She and Karsyn are the best! I know our daughter is in great hands and we are so happy to have found her.

I highly recommend Hopkinton Endodontics. They took wonderful care of my son after a major dental accident. Dr. McIntyre took time to research how to best treat him and collaborated with his whole dental team. She was also very helpful, honest, and informative to me as the parent.

Incredibly professional and attentive to patient needs. Dr. McIntyre got me in on an urgent basis, was such an amazingly skilled practitioner. Love how everyone in the practice goes above and beyond. They are exceptional. Highly recommend. I drove 2 hours each way because Dr. McIntyre is the only person I trusted

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Judy M. and her great team of Danielle and Marina. They got me in for an emergency on the same day, and we're able to relieve my pain that had been real bad over the July 4th weekend. Dr. Judy started the root canal after her review because of the pain I was in. They are extremely friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Dr Judy is a true professional, very caring and concerned for her patients. If you need an Endodontist Dr. Judy McIntyre is the Best. Thanks again Dr. Judy and your awesome team

Dr. McIntyre and her staff are all so professional and friendly. They clearly care both about your treatment and you. They both do a great job before you arrive and then following up to see that everything is OK. My experience was as comfortable and pain free as can at all be expected for a root canal procedure. I hope not to need another one but if I did I would return to Dr. McIntyre without reservation.

I had a lot of pain in my tooth and when I went to my dentist he said that I had to extract my tooth because making a root canal would be very difficult and if the root canal didn't work I would have to extract and it would cost me more money so I decided to look for an Endodontic and try it . I did a lot of researches and I saw good reviews of Hopkinton Endodontics and then I decided to have my tooth done with Dr. McIntyre and she was wonderful! She did two root canals for me and both were very difficult to do because I have c-shaped roots. I Thank Dr. McIntyre and her team for everything and what a great job!

I can't thank enough Dr. Judy McIntyre and her team for taking such good care of me, I had a root canal procedure done today, I was in a lot of pain before seeing her, now I'm pain free and the whole procedure went smoothly and no pain at all. She made feel comfortable and at ease. 100% recommend if you're looking for someone who really cares and loves their job, you can tell that dr. McIntyre is very passionate about her job!

I just had a root canal done by Dr Judy McIntyre and I was so impressed with the care I received. I was in a lot of pain and had experienced a failed attempt elsewhere due to my high level of anxiety when it comes to dental procedures. Dr. McIntyre had just the right amount of compassion and encouragement while also being firm about some things that were important for safety during the procedure (e.g. don't bring your hand up near your head to scratch an itch or move a stray piece of hair or whatever without warning them) because she and her assistant were passing sharp tools back and forth. I had difficulty with the dental dam and with the C shaped device used to keep my mouth open. She managed to calmly get these things in a position that I could tolerate, which kept my anxiety and gag reflex under control. The procedure was painless and I feel great now (the next day). It all went very smoothly. I was so amazed at how easy it was. I highly recommend Hopkinton Endodontics!

This was the BEST dental experience we have had in 20 years!! Dr M, Danielle and Marina were very supportive, sensitive to the special needs of my son and was VERY attentive. Its very hard to find specialist for autistic and special needs children and adults. This is the place to go, put it in your contacts!! Thankfully, Doctor McIntyre was able to accommodate me on a short notice as a last patient of the day to help me with my excruciating toothache. Her whole office extended their hours to make sure that I was properly taken care of. She understood my predicament and as a simple act of kindness wanted to alleviate my misery and was willing to do it the same day. There is no doubt that Dr. McIntyre is passionate about her job. She is the lucky one to have two key factors of human success: empathy and deep specialized knowledge. Her precision, anticipation of the next steps, along with her calming voice make the procedure totally comfortable. The super soft chair plays a role as well :-). The follow up was amazing. It was professional with a nice personal touch, reassuring, and comforting. I was very impressed that Doctor McIntyre took the time to text me over the weekend with follow up questions and recommendations. The overall experience was outstanding. I will highly recommend Hopkinton Endodontics to anyone who is looking for this type of specialized help.

The entire office was nice, supportive, and ensured that the procedure was done efficiently and effectively, as well as following up afterwards. One word: Amazing! After years of refusing dental care due to severe anxiety, I unfortunately required a root canal. Instead of jumping right in, I consulted with Dr. McIntyre, who answered all of my questions and concerns, carefully and thoroughly. On the day of the procedure, Dr. McIntyre had noticed that I was still uneasy upon arrival, and allowed me the time I needed to get prepared. Also, any time she had warned me of any possible pain or discomfort, I literally felt NOTHING at all! I will gladly recommend Hopkinton Edodontics to those that may require dental care in the future!
