Dr. Mitchell R. Hopkins received his bachelors degree in biological science from Kansas State University in 2004 and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 2008. Dr. Hopkins was a private practice owner in Breckenridge, CO for 3 years before relocating back to Kansas City. Dr. Hopkins is an active member of the American Dental Association and currently serves as a delegate for the Kansas Dental Association, as well as President for the local Johnson County 5th District Dental Association. Dr. Hopkins has recently been awarded fellowship in the American College of Dentists. The American College of Dentists is the oldest major honorary organization for dentists. It's members are elected into the fellowship by their peers for exemplifying leadership, professionalism, excellence, and ethics in dentistry. Hopkins Dental Health has been nominated for Kansas City's 2018 Small Business of the Year.
Dr. Hopkins feels it is both a privilege and responsibility to be a part of the healthcare field, and he has found tremendous fulfillment in his profession. In order to provide his patients with the most precise, comprehensive, and up-to-date care, Dr. Hopkins participates in an extensive amount of continuing education, learning from some of the best dentists and speakers in the world, and works with the best specialists that Kansas City has to offer. He also continuously invests in the most accurate and advanced technology for his practice.
Dr. Hopkins was raised in southwest Kansas, but he has always loved the Kansas City area and is very excited to call it home once again. He and his wife, Hillary, have been married for 15 years, and they have three children (Grace, Kauffman, and Nola). The only passion of Dr. Hopkins that comes close to rivaling his family and profession would be his beloved WORLD SERIES CHAMPION Kansas City Royals.

I want to thank Heather for helping Gary. The office was closed this past Friday. I texted Heather to see if she could get ahold of Dr. Hopkins & have him call. Within 25 minutes Dr. Hopkins was calling us. He called in 2 prescriptions for Antibiotics. We felt really cared about. P. S. Heather had given me her telephone number in case we needed assistance. We are in our middle 70's. Thank you both again.

I have been extremely pleased Dr Hopkins and his Staff his staff. They performed teeth cleaning, teeth whiting and Invisalign for me and their attention to detail was excellent. Also my schedule is constantly changing so Heather have been super flexible when I have to adjust my appointments when necessary

Unfortunately have plenty of experience with dental work. Dr. Hopkins and the entire staff are absolutely top notch. Procedures that used to take weeks or months are done in one visit. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Hopkins has been my dentist for the past two years. I was so happy to have found him after my longtime dentist had retired. The staff is very friendly and helpful with explaining everything from procedures to billing. I have recently begun wearing braces so I have monthly visit to the office and enjoy the delicious coffee they serve. Hopkins Dental is a perfect environment for people of all ages. Dr. Hopkins has young children of his own so he has an abundance of patience for children. :) In addition, the entire staff is extremely helpful and personable whenever I visit the office or come to my 6 month check up. Honestly, I enjoy all my visits to my Dentist's office and visiting with the staff. Thank you

Good dental care however their billing and customer service is disorganized. When trying to resolve billing and insurance issues, I received no explanation and avoidance of calls.

The staff is extremely helpful and professional. Every time I have had to change my appointment they have been extremely accommodating and are always quick to respond. What I really like it their knowledge and use of the latest technology, saves time and I feel like my teeth have never been in better shape than under the care of Mitch and the team at Hoppkins dental. First time there. Cleaning of teeth. They were very informational as what they were doing as they did it. Usually my teeth are a little sore after a cleaning but the way they did it didnt bother me at all. I look forward to next visit.
