Dr. Dustin J. Hopkin was raised in Morgan, Utah, as one of four boys and one girl. His interest in oral surgery was fostered through his mother who worked for an oral surgeon, the same oral surgeon who Dr. Hopkin later bought his practice from in 2011. After serving an LDS mission to Joao Pessoa, Brazil for two years, he attended Utah State and then headed off to dental school in the mid-west.

Dr. Hopkin attended dental school at the University of Iowa, where he received awards for dental research every year from 2003-2006. In addition, he has contributed to a number of dental publications regarding oral cancer. Dr. Hopkin has also been awarded and recognized for his achievements in Dental Histology, Dental Anatomy, and Oral Pathology. Internationally, he has had the opportunity to serve the people of Costa Rica on a humanitarian service trip.

Dr. Hopkin has received extensive training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Indiana University where he completed his surgical residency. The intensive training he received in his residency allows him to specialize inprocedures like dental implant placement, TMJ disorders, oral pathology and tooth extractions. As a specialist,he is equipped and experienced to handle the most complicated cases as well as the straight forwardones. General dentists throughout Utah send their implant and wisdom teeth cases to Dr. Hopkin, where they know their patients will receive the best specializedcare.

He routinely treats emergency oral and facial trauma patients in his office as well in a hospital setting, which have added to his wealth of experience. In 2013, Dr. Hopkin received his diploma from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. This elevates him toboard certified status, which means that the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has recognized Dr. Hopkin as a trusted surgeon with the highest standard of care.

Dr. Hopkin purchased the practice in 2011 from the same oral surgeon for whom his mother had worked for decades. The exposure he got through her employment in oral surgery helped to develop his interest and he eventually attended the University of Iowa for dental school. He received a number of awards for his dental research.

He later attended Indiana University for oral and maxillofacial surgery training and his surgical residency. The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has recognized the high standard of care offered by Dr. Hopkin through his Board Certification he received in 2013. His extensive training and experience allow him to offer a broad range of services including the newest advancements in the industry.

Emilee was raised in Southern California until she was 14 years old andmovedto Utah where she began working in the dental field in 1996. Emilee has been married for 13years and has two beautiful daughters. She lovedworking in dentistry so oral surgery was a natural transition for her! She has been doing an exceptional job managing our office since 2019. Outside of the office, Emilee enjoys golf, softball, hanging out with family andattending Ute football games!

Born and raised in Utah, Stephanie is one of six siblings, one older brother and four younger sisters. She is married with 7 children and 19grandchildren. Her hobbies include riding her Harley Davidson,water-skiing, camping, and scuba diving. She is most often found on the sidelines supporting her grandkids' sports teams. Stephanie loves dolphins, sunshine and horses and spent 18 years offering horse-drawn carriage rides through downtown Salt Lake City to Utah tourists and residents alike!

Tini is our rock star Insurance Benefits Coordinator. Her given name is Brittini,is a long time resident of Utah, having grown up in Salt Lake City. She loves to be with her family and friends doing pretty much anything active indoors or outdoors. Brittinialso loves being a dog mom and caring for her special needs sister. Her professional goals focus on excellence in patient care and kindness throughout the process. We are so lucky to have her passion and her 11years of experience on our team!

Yvette has been working at Hopkin Oral Surgery since 2019. She was trained at Dixie college with an Associate degree in Science and has recently transitioned from general dentistry into oral surgery.Like many of our staff, she loves spending time with her4 kids and traveling the world. Even though her favorite food is Mexican, her favorite placeis Paris, France, with New York City trailing close behind. When she's not working hard at the office, you can find Yvette at the gym, the golf course or enjoying her young grandchildren. When she ISworking at the office, everyone knows it! Her uplifting energy and vibrant dispositionarehard to miss and go a long way to providing patients with a pleasant experience in our office.
