Dr. Amjad Nesheiwat grew up Yonkers, New York and spent most of his adult life in Dutchess County. He graduated from NYU college of dentistry in 1993 and was excited to open his first practice shortly after in Westchester.
He was fortunate to work closely with Dr. Stanley Brown, a longtime resident of Hopewell Junction, a true humanitarian and excellent practitioner. He was honored to take over Dr. Browns practice after he retired in 1998, and prides his office on maintaining the same excellence.
In 2005, he moved his growing practice to a location that offers multiple dental specialties, including oral surgery, pediatrics, and orthodontics. He has not looked back since and has contributed his success to his family and staff, because without their love and support Hopewell Dental, PC would not be where it is today.
His skilled staff is dedicated to simplifying what is often a very complicated and confusing area of health care. He wants all of his patients to be informed and knowledgeable about their dental health: treatment plans, services, and insurance coverage. He looks forward to assisting you in achieving optimal dental and oral health in order to obtain the beautiful smile that you deserve.
Dr. Sigona has been part of our practice since 2015. He is proud to be from New York, having done all of his education here and is blessed to serve the community that he has lived his entire life. He graduated from NYU Dental and completed a residency in Montefiore hospital. His commitment to staying up to date on dental techniques is a valuable asset to the staff and its patients.
When Dr. Sigona is not in the office, he is spending time with the ones he loves. He is the definition of a family man.He enjoys traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures. He is known to be a big Disney fan and frequents Walt Disney World. He certainly loves sports, both playing and watching, with his favorite being basketball.
Dr. Sigona is passionate about providing compassionate and quality care to hispatients. He is honored to be a part of the practice and is committed to making a positive influence on patients oral health.We are blessed to have Dr. Sigona as part of the team at Hopewell Dental.
Dr. Shah completed his dental education at the College of Dentistry at New York University in 1977. After practicing in the Bronx for over 30 years, Dr. Shah decided to join Hopewell Dental, PC to be closer to home. A career in dentistry was a natural choice for Dr. Shah as it melded his interest in the health sciences, engineering, and fixing things.
Outside the office, Dr. Shah enjoys gardening and photography. When hes not in the garden or behind the lens, he can be found spending time with his grandchildren. At the office, Dr. Shah is known for providing compassionate quality care to his patients. He prides himself on keeping abreast of the most current techniques and materials in dentistry. As we celebrate Dr. Shahs first decade with our practice, we hope that hell continue to provide excellent care for our patients for many years to come.

Poorly managed. Botched my appointment date and then lied about submitting something to my insurance for approval. Once they did submit it, it was for the wrong work. Thoroughly inept staff and completely unapologetic. Taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

As far as dental care it is top notch (the dentist Dr Sagona very good and nice. ) one of the other workers unprofessional. Horrible the manager down to the dental assistants. Dr. Sagona is the only one and the one hygenist Lisa and Dr Nesheiwets wife and the other receptionist D. I would not be a patient there or sorry I worked there even if it was only 2 days a week. Judgemental and misleading and under paid. One star is all they get from me.

I loved the first impression of Dr. Neshiwat. He was real and honest. Rosemary the office manager is so nice, friendly, helpful, and always accomidating. Dr. Sigona is by far the best dentist I've ever had. He's kind, compassionate, and honest.

The dental staff are always incredibly nice here, gentle, and do top-notch work. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone, especially those who have anxiety with dentistry- they are calming, personable, and so proficient they make it go by quickly.

I would give Hopewell Dental 5 stars hands down for their care, consideration, professionalism, and expertise while in the chair. My family has been going here for years. EVERY SINGLE TIME I cringe at the thought of having to deal with the 'office manager'/receptionist. We won't be returning until she retires. :)

The most rude and miserable costumer service ever! Remember your paycheck come from the costumers pocket. I guess you already have enough costumers! Wont be back there ever!

I was told I had 2 cavities. After a second and third opinion it turns out I do not have any cavities. I am the 3rd person I know of that Hopewell Dental misdiagnosed cavities In. I don't think the dentist's are that stupid. I think it's fraud!

Horrible experiences with Neshwiewat and Shaw. I had work done on 4 teeth 3 of the teeth the fillings/crowns barely even held up for over a year before they fell out eating. the one tooth was pulled because the assistant gave Shaw a bigger size then was needed and cracked my tooth past the gum line. The 2 root canals i had i was in pain for over a week so bad i had to take off from work.. My current dentist (specialist) asked if i got the work done in a 3rd world country (this is no lie!) please steer clear of this place if i could sue i would have.
