He continues to learn and hone his skills in his field. His postgraduate studies have included: advanced training in all-ceramic restoration systems, The Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Residency Program from the Misch International Implant Institute, and accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Cha is also a founder of the Oklahoma Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Cha is married with two children and is a practicing Christian. My life revolves around serving our Lord, Dr. Cha said. He volunteers at his local church and does what he can to serve his local community.
In providing service, he has tried to learn to not be judgmental. A recent experience brought that home for him. He became acquainted with a woman who was finally released from prison after having received a life sentence for drug trafficking and other crimes. Her hard life had taken a toll on her teeth and she needed a lot of dental work. But it turns out that while in prison, she had decided to reform her life. She accepted Christ and began making changes in her life, so much so that this was the reason she was released from prison early. Having been released, she started a womens ministry. She was afraid, however, that the damage to her smile was detracting from the gospel message she wanted to share with other women. Dr. Cha got to know her and decided to do what he could to help. He ended up giving her a full mouth restoration. It brought him great joy to watch her smile transform, especially knowing she was using that to further minister to hurting and struggling women.
We make our registration and health history forms available to you online, so you can complete them before you arrive. However, if you havent had a chance, well get those completed with you. Then one of our assistants will get you seated comfortably in one of our chairs and offer a pillow or blanket if you would like.

Digital x-rays expose our patients to much less radiation than traditional dental x-rays, and the results are immediately available on a computer screen. They also use intraoral cameras to take detailed photographs of problematic areas in your mouth. This technology allows him to enlarge the photos by up to 50 times, and if you have never seen your teeth in this way, you will be amazed at how much these photos help you in understanding what your dentist is talking about.
We also employ CEREC technology that fabricates strong and beautiful ceramic crowns in the office, so you can enjoy the advantages of same-day crowns. In addition, we use laser technology to assist in some procedures. Laser dentistry is very precise and can allow shorter recovery times.
More significantly, we use the Carestream CT Scan system to assist with the diagnostic phase of dental implant restorations. The Carestream system uses three-dimensional digital radiography to show Dr. Cha exactly where to place your dental implant root form. Without this technology, it is not possible to see the exact location of your nerves, blood vessels, sinus cavities, and bony concavities. Accidents and dental implant failure can result when dentists try to place implants without a 3D CT scan.
We have often heard the horror stories of patients coming to us from another practice after having spent tens of thousands of dollars getting a new smile and ending up dissatisfied with the results. In order to ensure satisfaction, weve set up some safeguards for our patients. We begin with your smile design. Using computer imaging to design the ideal smile for your face. From there, Dr. Cha will do a wax mock-up before beginning your veneers in the lab. Once were satisfied with the mock-up, we design temporary veneers that you can wear to make sure you are happy with the results.
If youre not pleased with the temporary veneers, we go back to the lab as much as is necessary to get the results you were hoping for. We dont place your permanent veneers until you are thrilled with your temporary ones. And even after the permanent new smile is made, Dr. Cha will try it on with try-in paste to be absolutely sure. If you dont love them, they will be adjusted or even re-made until you do. That is our beautiful smile guarantee.
