Dr.Jacqueline Nelson Mangatal was born in Jamaica, West Indies, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Physics and Chemistry at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She completed her D.D.S. degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D. C. A continuing quest for more knowledge led her to complete a two year General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Centre in New York where she was chief resident and a Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern in Davie Florida.She recognizes the needto remain current in dentistry in order tocompletely treat her clients and haveattended many continuing education (CE) courses each year.
She is known for going the extra milefor her clients and continues to make her patients feel comfortablewhile providingcomprehensive dentistry andmore importantly patienteducation. Dr Nelson-Mangatal's and the entire staff's goal is toguarantee that each patient has the most calming, comfortable, pleasant and effective dental experience from entryto exit through her doors. Her calm and comforting manner has appealed to persons from all ages.
Shewants to create long lasting relationships with her clientswhile serving their dental needs. She is a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends especially her husband Davidand her son Jordan. She enjoys reading, biking, playing racket ball and playing Kalluki ( a card game).
Dr. Diaz is from Puerto Rico. Studied dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. He also did his AEGD at University of Maryland and his post graduate studies in Endodontics at Temple University. He worked in Texas for nine years until he moved to South Florida in 2005. Dr. Diaz has been working with Dr. Nelson for 9 years as the Endodontist for Hope Dental Group.
She understands the importance of quality dental service and treats each patient with respect, compassion, and professionalism. She practices regularly in continuing education in all aspect of dentistry.
Abraham Josue was born in Haiti and immigrated to North Miami, Florida with his family in 1994. He is a man of faith, a husband and father of two. He attended Miami Dade College where he received an Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene. After taking the National and Florida State Board examinations, he became a registered dental hygienist. He is also certified in local dental anesthesia. With over 15 years of experience in the dental industry, Abraham brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
In strives of making every patients dental visit a pleasant experience, he does a fantastic job of making patients feel comfortable. Educating his patients and making a difference in their oral and overall health is his top priority. Abrahams patients are guaranteed to receive the highest standard of care and service with every encounter. Abraham also serves as a volunteer at Robert Morgan Educational Center.
She is DANB certified dental assistant with 15 years of experience. Antoinette graduated from Georgia Medical Institute, where she was offered a teaching position in Dentistry, which she promptly refused due to her love for patient interaction in the field. She enjoys drawing, gardening & anything else that consist of art and outdoors.
In the near future, Antoinette intends to retire in Portland, Jamaica, where she will be spending her mornings gardening, her afternoons on the beach and her evenings watching the beautiful Jamaican sunset.
Abigail was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Island. She graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School. And later pursued college courses at the University of the US Virgin Island.
Serving as Administrative Assistant for 12 years at Cheetham & Lui P.C. Gastroenterologist office. I served with the most professionalism and adhering to the patient confidentiality. Her many years of experience prepared her and groomed her to be the ideal candidate for her current position.
Stef is the current Office manager for Hope Dental Group, for Dr. Jacqueline Nelson Mangatal dental practice. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela and the only daughter to two Haitian migrants who moved to Venezuela in the early 80's for a better life. Her family than migrated to South Florida in 1994, where she did all her primary and secondary schooling.
After graduating high school in 2005, she later on went to Atlantic Technical college to study Health Unit Coordinator. In 2011, she switched career paths and went to school at Atlantic Technical College, where she got her certificate and later on her license to become a CDA in the state of Florida. After 8 years of being a CDA, I'm now currently enrolled at Keiser University studying Health Administration.
My greatest accomplishment of all is being a wife to my wonderful, supportive husband Renel & mother to her five- & two-years old kids. She loves going to the gym, doing outreach work with her church as well as spending quality time at home with her family.

I highly recommend Hope Dental for anyone in search of an exceptional dentist. Dr. Jacqueline Nelson is very informative, as well as knowledgeable concerning the best options for all of your dental care. She is also very charismatic, and is sensitive to the patient's needs. She really cares about your oral health. My commute to her office is about an hour, but well worth it for such impeccable service. I love her, and her kind assistants. God bless them!

I'm definitely happy with the service. Everyone is friendly with a big smile. They were gentle and they let you know step by step whats going on with your teeth. Dr Nelson and her team are the best and I would recommend to everyone.

Like most ppl I am afraid to go to the dentist. But, Dr Nelson has changed that. She is knowledgeable, gentle, patient and funny. Her office is very clean and all of her staff are nice and have excellent customer service skills, something that is truly lacking today. They make you feel welcomed and appreciate your business. Dr Nelson listened to my concerns and didn't attempt to oversell me on products and procedures to abuse my dental insurance. I felt comfortable and have now made appointments for my whole family. Procedures I received (deep cleaning and fillings)

I was recommended to Dr. Nelson-Mangatal's office and from the first visit I was impressed. The office provides a friendly, caring atmosphere for all. Her kind disposition and keen relaxed sense of humour are simply delightful and sets you're mind at ease. She explains treatment options and ensures you fully understand all procedures involved. If you are seeking a calm, friendly, esthetically charming ,and professional dental office I'm sure Dr. Nelson and her staff will gladly welcome you. After going through a procedure you will leave satisfied and happy with the results... Just as I was. Updated: The Hope Dental team is the best. The doctor is very compassionate and caring. The hygienists are extremely thorough and provide excellent tips. Recently, they worked on new dentures for a family member. The previous teeth from another office are too big and actually unusable. The teeth done by Dr. Nelson-Mangatal's office look natural and work well. We're satisfied with the patient care we receive from their office.

Hygienist Abe was excellent and very thorough in his cleaning yet very gentle. Dr. Nelson-Mangatal did a quick follow up examination of my teeth and X-rays and then I was on my way. Early appointments available... very convenient for those who have to return to work.
