Stephen R. Hooper, DDS Dr. Stephen Hooper is a Shreveport, Louisiana native, with over 30 years of experience in the dental field. He is a Captain Shreve alumnus from 1977, a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University, and a proud 1986 graduate from the LSU School of Dentistry. He continues to advance his knowledge of dentistry throughout the year with monthly trainings and continuing education courses. He is a member of the Ark La Tex Academy of Dentistry.

Dr. Hooper is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care possible, and lives by the phrase, Quality over quantity. As a dentist, Dr. Hooper is committed to giving each patient the very best dental care possible in the most comfortable environment possible, with the intention of become his patients friend and dentist for life.

Dr. Hooper believes in paying it forward. He is a volunteer dentist for Louisiana Donated Dental Services and is a past board member for the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission. Dr. Hooper also travels on medical mission trips to Central and South America. He resides in North Bossier with his wife, Kristi. They are proud parents of 3 sons, and have 3 grandchildren.

Stephen Tyer, DDS Dr. Stephen was born and raised here in Bossier City where he graduated from Airline High School and started dating his wife, Rebekah Stevens. He then went on to LSU for undergrad studies and then to the LSU School of Dentistry. Safe to say, he bleeds purple and gold. He is so excited to be back home and be able to serve his community. He and Rebekah have a child, Patrick, with whom they are so in love.

Christopher G. Hooper, DDS Dr. Christopher G. Hooper joined Hooper Family Dentistry in 2014. He is a Bossier City native who graduated from Airline High School and later Louisiana Tech College and the LSU School of Dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association, he has a lot of experience and knowledge to share with our practice and patients. Dr. Hooper is also an army reservist and is interested in serving those who served in our nations military.

Kristi Kristi has been in the dental field for over 30 years. As Dr. Stephen Hoopers wife of 31 years, she has been an integral part in helping him start and maintain his dental practice for the past 30 years. Her knowledge and expertise of dentistry has truly helped to make Dr. Hooper the successful dentist that he is today.

Camila First Impressions Camila has been part of our team for two years. She has degrees in ORTS and dance, and uses her knowledge and skills to create treatment plans for patients and perform many miscellaneous duties, as well as lend support as a member of our team. As a translator for our Spanish-speaking patients, Camila loves meeting people and helping them with their dental health. She also enjoys dance, arts and crafts, and hunting and fishing with her husband. She is married to Dr. Hoopers son Scott, and her family lives in Bogota, Columbia.

Brooke First Impressions Brooke has been with our team for about 5 months. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts, with a concentration in art history, graduating in 2013. She greets each patient who visits our office, providing a friendly first encounter for everyone who comes to our practice, and appreciates the high standards to which we hold ourselves.

Dianne Insurance & Billing Specialist Dianne has been with our team for 8 years. In addition to being part of our dental family, Dianne undeniably enjoys working alongside her family, Dr. Steve, Kristi, Dr. Chris and Camila. Her favorite thing about being part of our practice is working with our team to be the best we can be and contributing to our patients oral health.

Debby First Impressions Debby has been with our team for 2 years. She earned her dental assisting certification in Omaha, Nebraska. Debby loves her job, even after over 43 years in the dental field. She enjoys the love we share at our practice, and gives 100% each day when she comes to work.

Robin Dental Hygienist Robin has been with our dental family for 2 years. She attended Tyler Junior College, graduating in 1997. She enjoys our patient-focused treatment approach, and likes that we work as a team in providing care. She strives to encourage and educate each patient. Robin never grows bored with dentistry and loves learning and helping in each area where she can be of use.

Jennifer Dental Hygienist Jennifer has been with our dental family for 7 months. She graduated from Tyler Junior College with a degree in dental hygiene. She has been practicing dentistry since 2000, and practiced as a dental assistant for 10 years prior to attending hygiene school. She works hard to provide our patients with the education and dental hygiene care they need in order to maintain optimal oral health. Of our practice, she says, We are the true definition of team. The Hoopers are compassionate, caring people, and it is a joy to work for them.

Mandy Registered Dental Hygienist Mandy has been with Hooper Family Dentistry for 14 years. She attended Northwestern State University, where she was a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, before transferring to Southern University in Shreveport to complete her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2002. Mandy loves being able to help her patients improve their oral health and getting to know about their lives, becoming not only their hygienist but also their friend. She loves everyone on our team, and has enjoyed watching our practice grow from a smaller office into one of the best dental practices in the Shreveport-Bossier area. She says, Dr. Steve and Dr. Chris are the absolute best there is! You will find no other office with more caring dentists or staff members!

Mandy and her husband, Kris, have 2 boys Drew (age 10) and Zach (age 6). Kris is a teacher. Mandy enjoys traveling, shopping, and watching her boys play sports. She especially loves going to the beach.

Kristi Registered Dental Hygienist Kristi has been with Hooper Family Dentistry for 14 years. She graduated from Southern University in 2002. For Kristi, the best part of our practice is how well we all get along that we are like a family, and that we work for the good of the patient in an honest, Christian-based office. As a hygienist, she helps to educate our patients about the importance of a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile.

Kristi and her husband of 8 years, Johnny, have 3 children Julianna (age 7), McKenzie (age 6), and Mary Katherine (age 3). She enjoys spending time with her family, church, travelling, running, and yoga.

Kristi lives in Shreveport, and drives 30 minutes to work each day. When people ask her why she doesnt find a job closer to home, she reminds them that working with people she genuinely respects is worth the drive. She states, The Hoopers are very honest, conservative doctors who also do amazing dentistry; you cant find that combo every day! There is no place Id rather work!
