Jason Hooper, D.M.D. - Dr. Jason Hooper graduated with his Bachelor's of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. He worked as a general dentist in Ocala, Florida, before earning his certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. In 2009 he opened Hooper Endodontics in Brunswick, Georgia. Throughout his career, Dr. Hooper has remained committed to the field of dentistry, serving as an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Glynn County Dental Association. Dr. Hooper, who grew up in Lakeland, Florida, is also involved with many local and national charitable organizations and groups in his church and community. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Jill Smith is the office manager for Dr. Hooper and often the voice you will hear on the other end of the phone when you call. She works along side Leslie at the front desk to assist patients as they check in and out, as well as filing dental insurance and assisting patients with any related financial concerns.
She and her husband, Chris, live on St. Simons Island and enjoy spending time on the beach and having coffee dates. Jill also loves spending time with her daughter, Anna Beth, an undergraduate at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Her main goal is to make every patient feel confident and relaxed as they prepare for their root canal treatment. She truly believes that one of the most important parts of her job is to welcome our patients with her 100 watt smile and, most importantly, compassion.
She has been with Dr. Hooper for over two years and in the general dental field for five. She is native to The Golden Isles and loves where she lives. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Josh and their 2 year old daughter Mya. The beach is her favorite place to be and she is truly blessed to be able to call The Golden Isles home.

You won't go wrong with Dr. Hooper and his staff. I am a huge COWARD when it comes to dental work. So much so I would rather have 30 children by natural birth then go to the dentist. Seriously! I went in for a Root Canal on my chipped top front tooth without sedation. The staff and Dr Hooper made me feel welcome and comfortable. We laughed and joked around throughout the procedure. Dr Hooper explained each step of the process and was extremely gentle which is very important to a Coward like me. He even rebuilt my chipped front tooth and gave me my SMILE back. I cried because I never thought I would get it fixed due to fear & finances. I highly recommend him. I will go back to him if necessary without fear for the first time in 53 years of my life. Oh did I mention I left his office and went straight back to work where I met and talked with customers face to face even with a numb upper lip I put on a mask just in case I drooled and couldn't feel it Give him & his staff a chance you will be glad you did!!!!

Dr Hooper and his staff are the best! Hands down! Leslie and Stacy up front are amazing and Courtney and Polly are so nice! My care was their top concern and I'm doing great after my procedure!

Referred by my dentist. Went for an evaluation. He couldn't find anything so he sent me to an oral surgeon who took a 3D view. Nothing showed there so that Dr. Put me on a steroid. This took care of my pain. I highly recommend Drs. Hooper and Hammond.

Dr. Hooper is the best. If you need a root canal he is the guy. I was just in his office today and it was totally pain free. I will not use anyone but Dr. Hooper. The staff was awesome as well.

Sorry, did not have a good experience. He was 30 minutes late for my appointment. He gave me my deading shot and then left me in the room for it seemed 45 minutes without anyone checking on me. I finally had to just about crawl out of the chair to go to the restroom.

Today, I had my first root canal by Dr. Hooper. Several former patients told me my root canal would be pain free. No way, I thought since I had never had a root canal and always heard they were painful. So, I've been waiting and stressed for quite awhile. Well, it was 100% pain free. First time I've ever said Thank You when I left. I left thankful and amazed! A+ Dr Hooper!

Dr. hooper and his staff are extremely personable and knowledgeable. They are good with scheduling and getting you back in a timely manner. I would highly recommend to anyone needing an endodontist.

4 stars is generous. The doctor was fantastic, but I was not contacted once by the office to confirm an appointment, despite it being made three weeks in advance by my primary dentist. There was also dirt and trash on the chair when I arrived (in the procedure room, not waiting), leading me to believe it wasn't cleaned prior. Other than that, the staff was friendly enough.

I was so nervous because I needed a root canal from a tooth that had had previous dental trauma but I had such a good experience! Doctor Hooper and his assistants were so nice and thorough which put my mind at ease. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very nice too. I will definitely be going back there if I need any more work like that done, absolutely great experience! After my insurance, I didn't pay too much out of pocket either and was very relieved! (Root Canal Molar) I definitely recommend going here.

Went in for a root canal and am a baby when it comes to pain dr hooper and his staff were more than able and kind to make me feel comfortable and at ease from talking with me on the phone to at the office! Would rather have five root canals with him than one cleaning at the dentist! 5 out of 5 for them will be recommending to all I know and will most definitely be back hopefully not of course , also the office was very clean!

Dr. Hooper and his staff were great!! No one likes a root canal but they made it pain free. The Navy sent me here and in comparison to my previous root canal by a Navy dentist this was amazing.
