Hooksett Family Dental - General dentist in Hooksett, NH

I love the educational aspect of my job. Its not about just fixing the problem at hand, but getting the patient to partner with us to try our best to keep more problems from happening. The patient is the most important member of our team!

Most often, patientsare dedicated and committed to excellent oral hygiene and preventive dental care. They believe the treatment is in their own best interest, they value our expertise, and they realize that they bear the ultimate responsibility for their dental health.

I received my bachelors degree in biology from Manhattan College and attended Tufts University toearnmy Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I chose dentistry because of the freedom it gives me to use my hands and mind, and I get to be with people all day long. I love the relationships I have developed with people over the years because of that.

Any way I can make theexperience better for the patient also makes the experience better for me and the whole team, whether its a way to make them more comfortable, or learning techniques that will help their smiles last a lifetime. The only way to strive for clinical excellence is to be constantly continuing my education. Coursework through the American Dental Association and the New Hampshire Dental Society haskept me up to date on digital technology, cosmetic procedures, and a variety of restorative care options.

I was born and raised in Bohemia, New York, where my father practiced dentistry. I have been proud to call Bow my home since 2015. My husband Eric and I have been married since 2011 and have two beautiful daughters, Olive, and Violet. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family at the lake and exploring all that New Hampshire has to offer!

I received my bachelors degree in general biology (summa cum laude & honors in major) from the University of New Hampshire where I spent much of my time researching marine wildlife and working as a biochemistry teaching assistant. Before pursuing dentistry as a profession, I spent a year working for Boston & Maine Railways replacing railroad ties and track for the Amtrak Downeaster train. I then attended Tufts University for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

To this day I continue to expand my clinical knowledge and skillset by attending meetings and lectures through the American Dental Association, SPEAR continuing education and the Massachusetts Dental Society so that I can continue to serve the Hooksett and surrounding communities by providing excellent care that will make people smile (pun intended).

I am a born and raised New Hampshirite and returned in 2017 after living in Massachusetts for four years I couldnt wait to return and be closer to friends and family and be farther from heavy traffic! I currently reside in Exeter where I enjoy working on home improvement projects, hanging out with my cat (who I consider to be my son) and planning trips to either Hampton Beach or the White Mountains, depending on my mood!

We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

Im the first face you see when walking into our office and I love taking the time to get to know our patients, new and established.

I live in Goffstown and am blessed with two children, Kayla and Alex, and my husband Matt who I have been married to for 21 years!I love to travel, swim in my pool, hang out by the fire and scratch the occasional lucky scratch ticket!

I began my dental assisting career in 1997 graduating from NHTI with my certificate in dental assisting and receiving my certification through the Dental Assisting National Board soon thereafter. Prior to coming to Hooksett Family Dental in January of 2020, I spent 18 years working as a CDA in Concord, NH where I held many titles including clinical manager. Today was my first visit. I was impressed by the professional and friendly demeanor of each staff member. Dr. Spargimino took time to explain her care plan and made me feel comfortable. I had been with my previous dentist for over 30 years and was apprehensive to make a change. I believe I made the right choice.

I was told I needed a procedure and additional x-rays, and the additional x-rays were required to show the insurance company that the procedure was necessary. I was not given any indication of the potential out-of-pocket expenses until after the procedure ($241). Cancelled all my upcoming appointments and when I went back a few weeks later to pay my bill, I was told my out of pocket expenses are now $272. Give your patients an idea of what their out-of-pocket expenses are in advance so they can choose whether or not to have a procedure done. Avoid this office.

The entire practice is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The hygienists work is excellent. Dr Spargimino and Marquis are both very thorough. Recommend them for kids as well as "seniors" as they all are very accommodating.
