Dr. Ryan Hooks graduated as valedictorian from Kilgore High School in Kilgore, TX. He then went to Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in biomedical science in 2005. Following his undergraduate studies, he moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery with distinction in research.
Dr. Hooks enjoys learning new dental techniques using the latest technology through continuing education. He has completed advanced training in implant dentistry, and he is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Brazos Valley District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hooks met his wife, Brittany, during school in College Station while she was attending Baylor University. They have two sons, Jackson and Weston. Dr. Hooks and his family are active members of Grace Bible Church in College Station.

Better still, these types of X-rays allow us to do it all with less radiation than their traditional counterparts. With soft tissue lasers, we dont have to use drills or shots to complete certain procedures, such as gum disease treatment. They are precise tools that also significantly reduce bleeding, post-operative pain and swelling, and recovery time.

Great staff from the reception area to staff to Dr. Hooks. Very caring about patients and easy to talk to about dental issues. Even in an emergency they were willing to help take care of a tooth issue. Great staff.

Everyone is amazing. Heather is always friendly and welcoming! She is super gentle and always makes sure I am doing ok. Dr. Hooks never makes me feel like I have to do something. I LOVE Dr Hooks and Staff! Tina at the front desk calls me by name and remembers the little things. Dr Hooks is always kind and compassionate during any visit. And the Dental Hygienist, Heather, is friendly, thorough, and upbeat. This team has helped me overcome my fears of dentistry, to the point I never feel insecure about needing to see them - whether it's a cleaning or a broken tooth. Cannot recommend this team high enough!
