Dr. Holly Cao-Rothwell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia; Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia; and a dental residency in Advanced General Dentistry from the University of Maryland. She has been practicing dentistry since 1993, mostly in the Northern Virginia area. In November 2005 she opened Stone Ridge Dental Care.
She is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society. She continues to pursue continuing education courses that keep her dental skills on the cutting edge and has been voted one of Virginias Top Dentists for the past 10 years.

Our family has been going to Dr Cao for many years and have always received outstanding care. Dr Cao listens and always puts her patients first. She's also very family oriented and very personable with her patients. I recommend Dr Cao without any reservations to anyone who is looking for an outstanding dentist for their family. She will be the last dentist your family will ever need.

My daughters and I have been seeing Dr. Cao-Rothwell for 9 years, and she and her entire team are so thorough and professional. The cleanings are gentle and our teeth are healthy and look great. Her practice is so welcoming and friendly and they thoroughly explain everything that they're doing. She is honest and trustworthy and never tries to sell us unnecessary procedures. My elderly father now goes to see her as well, and he also appreciates how gentle and patient they are with him.

Our daughter had a medical emergency and badly damaged her front teeth in a fall. Dr. Cao-Rothwell was in contact with our family via her cell from the ER to the Endodontist. She followed up on a Holiday and then came in on her day off to restore her front teeth so she could go to school. We are so thankful for her care!

Very disappointed. Regular visits to dentists for nearly 50 years. After cleanings with this dentist, did not feel like teeth were cleaned well. Twice had a dispute with dentist but she insisted she was right and we were wrong. We will take our money and our teeth elsewhere. Far too many dentists in the area to not be satisfied with ours.

Top notch service. Very impressed the way she approaches the problem and deals with it. She accommodated my son on a weekend and also did an amazing job. I'm not a person who post review but after meeting her I think I should. Very impressive. Thank you Dr Cao. My whole family will be going here.

Dr Cao-Rothwell is great and very gentle! My teeth and gums are sensitive and the doctor makes sure I am comfortable and not in any discomfort during my procedure. She frequently asks me how I feel during my procedure and will stop or adjust if I'm in any discomfort. She also explains the procedure clearly to me while I am there. Her staff is also warm, friendly and professional. Everyone has a great sense of humor and I always enjoy my visit. Keep up the good work!

I've been seeing Dr. Cao for over 11 years. She is very calm and gentle. All three of my kids go to her as well. We moved a few years ago and we still go to her. It's worth the drive!
