After visiting several dentist's offices I was so lucky to come upon Hometown Family Dentistry ... Been very pleased with the staff...always very caring and helpful... Great care and would definitely recommend... Give them a call and schedule a appointment.....

I've been a client of Hometown Family Dentistry for over 20 years, so this in itself clearly speaks to my overall satisfaction. The hygienists have changed often over the years, but overall have been very professional and thorough. My dentist (Dr.Kaltz ) has been handling things superbly for me for well over a decade! The front office folks are generally efficient and understanding. I have defected once or twice over the years, but always return knowing that HFD is one caring and well run dental office!

I originally came in for a teeth cleaning and ended up needing a filling. The office staff were friendly and helpful. After my filling, I did end up needing antibiotics to kill the bacteria fully. Several weeks later I experienced increasingly severe pain and after speaking with the owner was able to come in again despite them not being covered by my insurance. They were able to file down my filling and after three days that seems to have corrected the pain I was experiencing. I ran into some hiccups around what was possible which led to a delay in coming in, given the insurance issue, but overall I'm pleased with my experience.

the lovely woman who cleaned my teeth was so nice and consistently checked in to make sure i was okay, however when i was inspected by the lead dentist, he was very rude and made me so wildly insecure about my teeth that i literally cried after, i don't think you should be talking to your clients like that especially when there are a lot of young people who struggle with anxiety. our family has decided to switch dentists after MULTIPLE cases of this, to both me and my sisters. they overcharge and only apologize for it later. highly and strongly disappointed in my hometown family dentist experience. so glad i will save myself tears and immense insecurity by migrating to a different dentist. shoutout to the woman who cleaned my teeth.

Do not come here if you have a disability or some sort. They will not accommodate to you and they apparently think it's ok to be rude to people, especially the disabled people. Disgustingly open display of ableism. Terrible customer service, as evident in the screenshot I took.

Review update (January 3, 2022) Another excellent experience with a routine cleaning & checkup visit. The hygienist Vickie was outstanding -- great communication, thoroughness, and a very pleasant attitude. --- Review update (June 28, 2021) I had another routine cleaning & checkup visit today. The visit went well. The wait time of 20 minutes was a little more than I had in the past, but I caught a quick nap sitting in the comfortably cool waiting room. The hygienist Youngsun did an excellent job that was thorough but also as little discomforting as possible. The front desk staff was efficient as usual. --- I have visited four times so far, all for routine cleaning and exam. In all visits so far, wait time was very short to none, and the staff was always friendly and efficient. Special shout out to Stephanie (?) who has been especially thorough and effectively communicative in her dental hygienist practice, noticeably more so than all other hygienists I have encountered elsewhere.

They saw me on an emergency visit on Saturday and set me up with another appointment for Monday. Very friendly staff. Overall I would recommend!

I have been coming to this office for years. Dr. Kaltx does great dental work. Nedra is a great hygienist and she has cleaned my teeth many times.

changed to hometown since most other dentist wear doing fillings just to milk out my insurance, no issues so far and the staff is super friendly. Hope they keep up the good work and it stays that way! Awesome service

Love this place the doctors are great the staff are really nice and welcoming the office is clean they make you feel right at home definitely made my experience here great

Unsafe and completely unprofessional. I have been going here for years until they changed management. The dentist not only didn't stop when I raised my hand while she was drilling so I could swallow but pushed my hand down and leaned on it so I couldn't raise it & she kept drilling as I slowly sat up. When I told her it didn't hurt before I came in but after just breathing hurt she said she was no where near the nerve which was also proven wrong by a different dentist who was afraid to drill it out and fix it because she drilled right up against my nerve. If you don't want your teeth to be worse than when you walked in, please think twice before coming here.

I have been a patient for many years. I have no complaints at all. Staff is friendly, appointments are easy to make and the wait time is nominal. I have recommended Hometown to several friends and family.

My first and only time at this dentist organization was extremely positive. Everyone from front desk to hygienist to doctor were kind, professional, knowledgeable, and outgoing. I could go to a dentist a lot closer to home but decided I will continue to visit Hometown Family Dentistry as long as I live in NJ. I have found my dentistry home. :)
