Dr. Addison Faldet grew up in Algona, IA where she attended Bishop Garrigan High School. She received her bachelors degree in biology from the University of Northern Iowa and then went on to attend dental school at the University of Iowa where she met her husband, Dr. Reed Faldet.
Addison earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2020. She holds a wealth of knowledge and clinical skills in the areas of preventive dentistry, prosthodontics, operative dentistry, oral surgery, geriatrics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Addison especially enjoyed treating the pediatric population. She was grateful to be chosen for both a pediatric internship following the completion of her 3rd year, as well as a 2-month rotation at St. Lukes Childrens Hospital during her 4th year of dental school. Those experiences helped Dr. Addison grow her knowledge and skill set serving children of all ages.

Dr. Reed Faldet grew up in Cresco, IA where he graduated from Crestwood High School. He then went on to attend Iowa State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science studying Kinesiology and Health and Exercise Science. Dr. Reed has always been interested in health and well-being, which inevitably led him to attend dental school at the University of Iowa. Reed earned his D.D.S in 2019.
While in dental school, Dr. Reed focused on expanding his clinical skill set and knowledge in the areas of prosthodontics, operative dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Through tutoring, volunteering, work-study, internships, and externships, he has been fortunate to gain invaluable supplementary experience: diagnosing, planning, and executing a range of dental treatment. These supplementary experiences have given Dr. Faldet the confidence to administer a variety of dental services to a diverse population. He thoroughly enjoys the science of dentistry and looks forward to a long career, learning and adopting new practices that will benefit his patients.
When he isnt practicing dentistry, Dr. Reed enjoys friendly competition (he plays on a local sand volleyball & flag football team), reading, listening to podcasts, and going for walks and bike rides with Addison.
Favorite Meal: Steak and potatoes (But enjoys anything off the grill) Favorite Movie: The Gladiator (He got Addison to watch it once) Favorite Book/Series: Harry Potter (Addison wont read the books, but will watch the movies) Favorite Pastime: Learning new things and taking on new challenges (Also finishing the DIY home projects that Addison is always starting)

It had been a while since I had seen a dentist. I, like I'm sure most people, had a lot of anxiety about going after having not been for so long. It didn't take long for me to settle right in, and feel completely comfortable with everything going on. The hygienists did a great job of explaining every step, and Dr. Reed + staff made sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time. I went through multiple fillings, plus a root canal with virtually no pain. Thank you Hometown Dental! I will be a regular for sure.

Amazing. I have had the pleasure of both Dr. Reed and Dr. Addison do some work on me they both did amazing work made me feel comfortable and secure in what was being done. I felt like they wanted to help me not try and get as much money as they could like I felt at other office. The same goes for the rest of their staff the office staff has went above and beyond helping me. I am so happy I decided to switch Dentist.

I saw Dr. Addison Faldet for the first time and had a really great experience. She was super friendly and I couldn't believe how comfortable my teeth cleaning was by her. Usually hygienists scrape and it's an unpleasant experience sometimes leaving my gums so sore. But Dr. Addison assured me that all that intense scrapping wasn't necessary and she cleaned my teeth with a light touch and it was so nice. She complemented me on the condition of my teeth, and I'll definitely be back to Hometown Dental for my cleanings or if I need anything else done with my teeth. Overall it was such a great experience.

Dr. Faldet is a wonderful dentist! I take my two kids here and he makes it very enjoyable for them. The staff is wonderful and make the process go smooth. They truly care about you and want to make the experience the best it can be! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dentist in the area.

Dr. Addison at Hometown Dental is very good at what she does. She takes the time to explain things to me in ways that I am able to understand. She's has never hurried through one of my exams, takes her time and always asks if I have any questions! Would high recommend going to see her and her husband at Hometown Dental!
