Dr. Childress, originally from Rockcastle County, attended the University of Louisville earning her bachelors degree in Biology. She then went on to study and graduate with honors from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Childress is very excited to be back in the area and serve the people of Central Kentucky! Dr. Childress enjoys spending time with her Goldendoodle, Mellie, and traveling in her free time.
Dr. Diggikar attended dental school at British Columbia University and received his degree in 2001. He found he was especially interested in treating root canals (endodontics) as well as working with crowns and bridges. Dr. D. has been with our practice since 2007, but before moving to Kentucky, he lived and practiced in Canada. He and his wife, Pushpa, have two daughters and enjoy traveling in their free time.

When I walked into the office......it was nicely furnished....and the staff from window to Dentist we're fantastic....they were all very nice and very helpful....I would most definitely recommend this office,to everyone who needs dental work...all of people there are awesome

I was very impressed with Jennifer and Dr Childress. They not only took good care of me they were also polite and professional. Gave me a blanket, because I was cold. They are wonderful people, and take all the stress out of going to dentist

I was very reluctant about going to the dentist, as is anyone I believe. So when I arrived to Hometown dental in Lancaster I was at the very least nervous. When I walked in the door I automatically felt welcome as I was greeted by a friendly face and a "hello, good morning" As I was taken back and seen by the dentist and her assistant was when I really got nervous... No matter how old you get the dentist is always a little bit scary. Surprisingly she was not scary at all, she was very nice, she asked me what my concerns were, what I didn't like about my teeth and what I wanted to work on. In 34 years I have never been to a dentist where I felt so comfortable. The staff took the time to talk about my needs and care. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. Dr. C was great!

Hygiene appointment today : issue with them confirming my insurance/ hygienist didn't believe me that I have coverage for a cleaning every 6 months. Then she refused to clean my teeth because I needed bit wing X-rays and said she would charge me for those as my insurance only pays once a year. I told her I could have the previous dentist send my X-rays over and she said weren't you a dental assistant once / how did you not know this is how it works / she was very rude to me from the get go. I honestly have had a bad experience here. The restorations I have had done were placed by a dental assistant and not the dentist herself and everything was very rushed. They shouldn't treat people like this just based on their having Medicaid. Try to go elsewhere
