With over 24 years of experience, Dr. Amiel Pappas is a compassionate dentist who offers comprehensive, high quality gentle dental care in his state-of-the-art practice. Since he was 10 years old, Dr. Pappas knew he wanted to be a dentist; he always enjoyed visiting his dentist as a child. He is proud to be a part of a profession where he can help people.
Dr. Pappas completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois and BS in Biology at Loyola University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Las Vegas Institute.
Dr. Pappas grew up in the Oak Lawn area and maintains residence on the southside. He and his staff are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. They welcome patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you and offering you the professional, caring and pain free oral health care that you deserve.

Let me tell you i love this place and dentist! Everyone is so kind. The place is cozy too ! And i felt the prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend to everyone!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Pappas and his staff. I have always been a squeamish chicken when it comes to going to the dentist, but I have never experienced that feeling since I started going to Hometown Dental. Dr. Pappas and his staff are talkative, funny, and always masterful about taking your focus away from any lurking dental anxiety (which is always the case with me!). Most of all, I highly respect his judgment and integrity with regard to what procedures/dental practices he recommends. For the first time in my life, I can honestly attest that going to the dentist has been a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Hometown Dental.
