She worked as a dentist in Iraq for 5 years before moving to the United Arab Emirates, where she continued practicing dentistry until relocating to the United States. Once in the States, Dr. AlHashimi attended the externship program in the Advanced Specialty program in Prosthodontics/Loma Linda university and then she completed the Advanced Specialty program in Endodontics at the university of Loma Linda School of Dentistry in Californiawhere she got her masters degree also in Endodontics. She has limited her practice to Endodontics.
Dr. AlHashimi has been active in several professional organization and has served on committees. She is an active member of American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association and Greater Houston Dental society. Her research of interests includes root morphology and Bio ceramic Materials.
