I enjoy working with my hands and blending art and science to improve a persons appearance and self-esteem. As an orthodontist, I feel very fortunate to be able to make a positive difference in the quality of life of the patients I treat, whether they are children or adults. Its so much fun to see our patients grow and change over the years into happy, healthy, successful individuals.

Continuing education is an essential aspect of providing top-quality care to my patients. I attend the annual American Association of Orthodontists meeting and many of the state and local meetings as well. Its amazing how techniques improve over the years to make orthodontics much easier, better, and faster for the patient.

Since joining my fathers practice in 1985, I have had the pleasure of working with a fantastic team. Many of our employees have been with us for a long time and developed the skills needed to make each patients treatment smooth and comfortable. From reception to chairside assistants to billing and lab, our entire staff works toward making a treatment experience our patients will never forget.

I am a Milwaukee-area native andappreciate the fact that I can serve a community full of my family, friends, and neighbors. I currently live in the Lake Country area with my wife Nancy. We enjoy spending time with our adult daughters Kristen and Lindsay. Together, we like to go boating, skiing, motorcycling (all power sports), hiking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Orthodontics has given me the opportunity to play a major role in the lives of children and adults for more than 25 years. I love the excitement that accompanies my patients as they finish their treatment here. I also love the interactions I have with such a variety of people from younger children to adults of all ages. I feel Ihave developed a keen insight into my patients needs and desires over the years, which enablesme to practice high-quality orthodontics and still keep my focus on superior service.

Throughout the year, I attend continuing education and hands-on training seminars. In this age of changing techniques and advancing technology, it is essentialto be able to provide the best and most up-to-date treatment options to my patients.

I feel it is important to give back to the community that has been so good to me, my practice, and my family. I have been involved in church activities since we became members in 1988. Our business has always contributed generously to local school booster clubs and teams as well as special-event auctions and various other community festivals. A few years ago, we started a local annual scholarship at a nearby high school for a senior studentwho is pursuing a career in the medical field.

I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Wilmette, Illinois. In 1988, I moved to Wauwatosa, where I raised my three wonderful children. My daughter Katie, a graduate of St. Olaf College, lives in St. Paul. My son Mark is studying at UW Madison, and my youngest son Peter is studying at UW Milwaukee. Away from the office, I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, traveling, cooking, listening to music, and family time.

Every day, I am excited to come to work because I have the opportunity to establish life-long relationships with patients and improve their lives. Orthodontics is very rewarding because I have the chance to witness the transformation that takes place in patients as they become more confident and educated about their teeth and oral health.

I especially enjoy the artistic side of orthodontics and the accomplishment of creating a beautiful smile that a patient is excited to show off. My goal is to involve patients in their treatment by explaining all treatment options and recommending the treatment that I would want for my own family.

I am proud of the service our staff provides to our patients, and I enjoy interacting with three outstanding doctors every day. It has been invaluable to be able to exchange ideas between thefour of us when we are reviewing cases and making treatment-planning decisions. We learn a lot from the differences in our practice styles and continually encourage one another to stay uptodate on new developments in orthodontics. I also enjoy recruiting patients, staff, and the other doctors to join me in my latest viral video ambitions!

Born and raised in South Dakota, I moved to Kansas to attend college, where I met my amazing wife Maggie. While in residency at Marquette, my wife and I decided that Milwaukee was a perfect fit for us. Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, my daughter Meredith, my son Jude,and my dog Chalmers. Together, we love getting out in the community and attending concerts, festivals, and sporting events. In my free time, I enjoy working out, traveling, playing the drums, cooking, brewing beer, dancing, listening to music, and watching sports.

Ive found that the best way to interact with patients is to be myself! I try to be calm and organized, always kind, and keep a good sense of humor. I love meeting new people, and I get to do that every day at my job.

When I'm not at work, you can find me cheering on myteenaged son Zach at his Little League games that my husband, Tim, helps coach. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, coffee and cleaning. When we are not at the baseball field, as a Family we enjoy hanging out at Hoyt Pool, Going to State Fair and Grilling out in the back yard. I love interacting with patients. Its fun to hear what they do in school and in life. Its great to have time to bond with them. After working here for24years, I know our doctors really care about their staff and their patients. We are like a family here, and we always have a lot of fun.

In my free time I enjoy baking, reading books, and being outdoors during the nicer weather in Wisconsin. I love to travel and hope to make it to Ireland or Australia some day. I am passionate about photography, coffee & love anything pineapple. When I took the chance to learn orthodontics, it didn't take long for me to love it. I started as an assistant and when I joined Holzhauer, Hewett & Barta, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the front end. This really appealed to me as I like meeting new people and greeting familiar faces.

In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, kayaking, camping and fishing are just a few things that take up my summer. I also try to travel to a new state or country at least once a year with my family! Dance has been a huge part of my life. I've taken classes since I was 4 years old at the Schauer School of the Arts and The Milwaukee Ballet School and have just recently been in my very last performance. I like to interact with people. I also like that I'm learning so much about orthodontics, even while working at the front desk.

I recently moved from the Chicago area to Wisconsin and just completed a full house renovation. We have three adult children and a dog named Spencer. I love to cook, my friends call me 'The Domestic Chef'. Lake Country is a great area for hiking and kayaking, I get outdoors a lot here. At Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta, I work with insurance companies to check benefits and get that information translated for you.

I believe that laughter is the best medicine. I'm happiest when I'm with myfamily. Good times, good food, andlasting memories are made when we're together. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, we've been together for over 20 years and have a son together. Wealso have a dog, Maddie, and a Uromastyx Mali lizard named Handsome. Iloveinteracting withour patientsto get a betterunderstanding of their needs. My goal is to help them feel comfortable and enjoy their visits.

My husband and I love to spend time hiking on trails with our dogs, kayaking, and gardening. We love going the the local farmers market and trying new restaurants in the area. I have three amazing sons that I love very much andlook forward to traveling many places with them in the future. My passion is to provide a quality experience for all of our patients. It is nice to become part of your life and help improve your smile. I really enjoy the professional and personal touch our office has to offer for you and your family.

I was born in Venezuelaand came to the states with my mom when I was 9 years old. I love country music! One of my favorite things to do is try new restaurants. I like spending timewith my friends and being outdoors (weather permitting). I also enjoy being out on the lake. Ihave a hands-on job that allows me to interact with people. I love working with all ages of people. I love that no day is ever the same. Its a fast-paced work environment and a fun place to work too!

I am recently engaged to my wonderful fianc Ted. When I'm not working or wedding planning, I enjoy all that Milwaukee has to offer! I love trying new restaurants....especially ones with patios or rooftops! I love all kinds of music, so concerts and live music are a must in my life! I enjoy running and try to do as many 5ks as I can throughout the year. Traveling is one of my most favorite things to do so I jump at any opportunity to go! I love a job that is hands-on and interactive, so orthodontics is a great fit for me. Being able to be a part of a patients smile transformation is a wonderful reward!

My husband, Kurt, and I will be celebrating our 29th anniversary doing what we love to do, camping, fishing, and kayaking on the Mississippi River. We have one daughter, Taylor, and granddaughter, Lily, who isthe apple of our eyes. My other passion in life is cooking, (but not baking!). Every day is an adventure.Our work isfast paced, but we still know how to have fun and work at the same time.

I've been married to my husband, Brian, for over 20 years. We have three beautiful daughters, Kayla, Kristina, and Kendra who keep me busy watching them play basketball.We rescued an Australian Cattle Dog a year ago named Max who is a perfect fit for our family. We also have three cats, Bella, Kiya, and Jake who keep us entertained as well. I love gardening, volleyball, country music, and spending time with family and friends. In May of 2017, I celebrated my 20th year as an assistant with Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta!I am very attentive to each patients needs andI like to get to know them on an individual basis. When the braces are removed, I love to see their new smile when they look in the mirror!

I'm married with two children andtwo fur babies. Ilove to read, cook, andspend time outdoors as much as possible. In my 15 years of experiance I've enjoyed getting to know our patients. It's amazing seeing the changes throughout their treatment and the joy it brings them when they leave with a confident smile.

I have three daughters ages 21, 26, and 28. I also have three grandsons and finally my first granddaughter. I like to do activities with the grandkids like baking cookies and pies, fishing, and flying kites. I've recently started golfing, which is so much fun. I also love fishing and really need to catch a muskie soon! I enjoy working with patients of all ages. With younger children, I try to keep them calm so they arent afraid of any procedures.

Cooking, baking, reading cookbooks, and being a Food Network junkie is my life. Baking cupcakes and decorating them with hours of shaping fondant decorations is my passion. You can usually find me in the cookbook section at Barns and Noble checking out what's new, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's buying the latest ingredient for a new recipe I'm making. Something new I started this year was whenever I'm in the Starbuck's drive-thru, Ialways pay for the car behind me. I think paying it forward speaks volumes to others.I interact well with all patients, but especially children. I have a way to make them feel comfortable and at ease. My favorite part of working here would have to be meeting new people, hearing their stories and seeing them smile when they get their braces off. Peace, Love, and cupcakes!

I was born in South America and was adopted with 3 of my siblings when I was six by wonderful parents. I also have a younger adopted brother and sister, as well as two older brothers. I was married in 2016 to my husband who is originally from Brazil. We are expecting our first baby, a boy, in July and cant wait to meet him!! A few things I enjoy doing are walking, spending time outdoors, knitting, watching TV and spending time with my family. I was a patient at Holzhauer, Hewett & Barta and have since been trained as an orthodontic assistant. I love working with patients, especially children. My main goal is to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their treatment.

I am a mother of 4 children, ages 11, 9, 6, and 3. Owen, Cloe, Brie, and Andrew. My children take up most of my free time. I enjoy spending time outside and love the warm Summer months. I like to travel, especially to Mexico and Las Vegas. Patient comfort is most important to me. I want to make sure our patients look forward to coming back to our office. It is so rewarding to see our patients smiles when their braces come off!

My husband and I have two young children who bring such joy to our lives. We love going to the zoo, botanical garden, and to festivals together. I like turning everyday activites into imaginative adventures to make the mundane a little more fun. I take a similar approach to my work. I like the variety of work I get to do at Holzhauer, Hewett, and Barta. Our patients are so interesting and diverse. I enjoy seeing them monthly and finding our common interests. My coworkers and the doctors are genuine people that I feel privileged to spend time with each day.

I have a son Caleb who is 14 and a daughter named Ava who is 9. They both play baseball, which takes up a lot of our time, but my Husband Mike and I wouldn't change it for the world. We are a very active family from traveling to taking bike rides and walks with our dog named Blu who is the best Black Labrador ever!!!! We see a lot of smiles here at HHB, but just like our personalities, no two are ever alike. I love the interaction with patients and seeing their smiles transform.

I get a great sense of satisfaction being able to sit with a parent or responsible party and work out a financial plan that works for both of us. People need to understand that when a problem arises, we're going to help as much as we can.
