Dr. Tyler and his wife, Sonya, moved to the area in 2016 and are thrilled to be back in California. They have a daughter, Julia, and a son, Russell, who are the joy of their lives! They love to spend time as a family. Dr. Tyler enjoys playing sports, skiing, and watching college football games, especially at the stadium! He loves taking his family to the park and showing Julia and Russell all the animals at the zoo.

I have always wanted to be an orthodontist. I love getting to know each of my patients, their families, interests and friends. What makes orthodontics so special is the change that I get to see in a patients life as their smile and self-esteem begin to blossom. A beautiful smile gives each of us great confidence and excitement. I love the challenge to perfect every detail about a smile that will shine throughout a patients life.

Dr. Tyler is a dedicated student of dentistry and orthodontics. While in dental school, he received the American Association of Orthodontists Orthodontic Award and Pediatric Dentistry Honors. He also presented his orthodontic research at several dental conferences. Dr. Tyler was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society while ranking in the Top 5 of his class.

After dental school, Dr. Tyler completed two and a half years of residency treating orthodontic patients. At the prestigious University of Oklahoma orthodontic program, Dr. Tyler learned from over 15 faculty members the latest and most efficient treatment techniques how to treat all types of orthodontic patients. He continues to attend seminars, lectures and conferences to gain further knowledge to provide patients with the highest quality care.

Dr. Tyler coaches his HS alum Granite Bay High School Grizzly Football Kickers.He has a great appreciation for the game of football, the life lessons it teaches the players and giving back to his community. Dr Tyler is also a Board Certified American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) member. Dr. Tyler along has been a member of the Invisalign Pioneer Study Club for 3 years.

Dr. Holt and his wife Debbie live in Granite Bay. They have five children as well as two wonderful sons-in-law, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and 10 brilliant grandchildren. Being with his loved ones is Dr. Holts priority outside the office. The family has traveled to Africa and South America to offer humanitarian aid.

I consider being an orthodontist the best job in the world. I love helping people not just have better, healthier smiles, but to have better lives. Having a beautiful smile increases a persons self-esteem and the confidence with which they move through the world. Every day, I am able to help people develop smiles that will improve their life, for a lifetime.

Dr. Miriam Behpour (BAY-pour) loves teeth and making her patients smile! She is thrilled to be working alongside Dr. Tyler, Dr. Holt, and our wonderful team, to create beautiful smiles in a fun environment.

She grew up in Berlin, Germany, with her twin sister, Delia. Her native language is German, but she also speaks fluent English, conversational French, and a little bit of Japanese. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Fine Art, completed Dental School at University of Pittsburgh, PA, and completed her MBA and Orthodontic specialty training at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Nevada. She is a board-certified orthodontist and proud to be a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Behpour served on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a General Dentist for 8 years and moved up the ranks to become Lieutenant Commander. Serving as a General Dentist, she had the opportunity to serve in many different dental clinics: overseas in Japan, at sea aboard an aircraft carrier deployed to the Middle East, and ashore in various Naval clinics across the United States.

In addition to obtaining joy from creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Behpour has a passion for creating art. Whether its painting, drawing, ceramics, or jewelry making she loves art in all its forms and enjoys teaching it to others, too!

Her other hobbies include photography, going to art museums, hiking, biking, yoga, traveling, watching soccer, and cheering on her favorite team, FC Union Berlin. You might catch her enjoying sushi, German chocolate, or watching her favorite Star Wars movies!

Dr. Behpour served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years as a General Dentist. For 2 of those years she was stationed aboard aircraft carrier USS Enterprise and deployed for 8 months in support of OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom). The aircraft carrier houses a crew of over 5,000+, including 4 Dentists, 1 Oral Surgeon, and a team of 10 dental assistants.

Dr. Behpour was stationed at various Naval Dental Clinics across the country and also served overseas in Japan for 3 years, working at Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan. She describes it as a rewarding experience, including annual volunteer events such as Give Kids a Smile Day which provides free dental screenings & educates kids about dental hygiene & nutrition.

Dr. Behpour left active duty service to specialize in orthodontics. Her orthodontic residency allowed for the opportunity to try many different orthodontic techniques, bracket systems, and appliances both fixed and removable, which allows her to tailor the treatment perfectly to each patients individual needs.

I Was stationed aboard aircraft carrier USS Enterprise for 2 years. This ship housed over 5,000+ crew on board. 4 Dentists, 1 Oral Surgeon, a team of 10 dental assistants. Dr. Behpour painted a pirate tooth on the door to help patients locate the dental clinic.

I Was stationed in Japan for 3 years working at Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan. Volunteered for Give Kids a Smile Day providing free dental screenings & educating kids about dental hygiene & nutrition. (Picture with the little girl)
