In addition to his private practice in Holmdel, New Jersey, Dr. Aldredge is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Implantology at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY; a member of the Dental Hygienist Advisory Committee and guest lecturer at Middlesex County College, Edison, NJ; and an attending faculty member at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, Newark, NJ.
In 1988, Dr. Aldredge received his Biology degree from Stockton State College and his D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Dental School in 1992. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina and earned hisPost-graduatePeriodontal Degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Aldredge was a Research Investigator on two major projects:(1) A Pivotal, Randomized, Parallel Evaluation of rhBMP-2/ACS and Standard Bone Grafting Materials for Maxillary Sinus Floor Augmentation, and (2) A Multi-center Phase 3 Trial of Minocycline Periodontal Therapeutic System (Arestin): Adjunctive Use in Patients with Adult Periodontitis. Both of these medical devices have since received FDA Approval.
He has recently opened his own Advanced Education Center of Holmdel at his Holmdel practice to keep dentists, dental students, dental staff and patients up to date on the latest research and products.
Dr. Aldredge is also on the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists - the largest regional periodontal society in the United States - and past president of the New Jersey Society of Periodontists. Dr. Aldredge was a member of the Task Force which developed and wrote the Guidelines for the Management of Patients with Periodontal Disease and the Statement on Risk. The Guidelines were distributed to every dentist in the United States.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, American Board of Periodontists, Northeastern Society of Periodontists, New Jersey Society of Periodontists, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.With his prior certifications in Advanced Cardiac and Advanced Trauma Life Support, he is a qualified member of the National Emergency Medical Response Team (NEMRT) and a Police Surgeon.
Gums begin topull away from the the teeth, creating a pocket that exposes the tooth root. Untreated,the pocket will grow as infection causes increased loss of the connective tissue holding the tooth in place, and of the supporting bone. With no structure remaining to keep it in place,the tooth will become loose and fall out.
Removing oral plaque and calculus buildup is essential to halt progression of gum disease.Periodontal disease may havesymptoms such as red gums, swollen gums, painful gums or bleeding gums. In other cases, symptoms may not be noticeable to anyone but the periodontist.
Mild to moderate periodontitis is treated by cleaning plaque and calculus out of the gingival pocket. Itmay be necessary to encourage reattachment of the gum tissue to the tooth using LANAP (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure) lasersurgery is one of the advanced techniques Dr. Aldredge employs for this task. Depending on progression, periodontitis may be treated withguided tissue regeneration, gum tissue graftsandbone grafts.

Dr. Lee attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, where she graduated in 3 years. She earned her dental doctorate at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey Dental School (now the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), graduating with honors and the Dental Implant Student Award.
She went on to complete a 3-year postgraduate residency program in Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School, obtaining her certification in Periodontics.She also achieved her Masters Degree while at the University of Maryland with the Department of Oral Biology
Dr. Lee and completed research regarding a systematic review looking at the frequency of furcation closure with regenerative treatments of Grade 22 furcation invasion in mandibular molars. She was also involved in periodontal research at UMDNJ while in dental school regarding aggressive periodontitis anditvirulence factors.
Dr. Lee has training intreatment-planningand full-mouthrehabilitation,and is involved in computer-guided implant dentistry. She continues to expand her periodontal scope with continuing education, and to ultimately provide proper individualized comprehensive periodontal and implant treatment for every patient.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Northeastern Society of Periodontists.

I have gone to Holmdel Periodontics & Implant Dentistry for several different procedures, including implants, and have been extremely satisfied with the results. Dr. Aldridge is professional, courteous, patient and demonstrates a sincere concern for his patients. He answers all questions and does everything possible to make you feel comfortable. His attitude transcends to his office and support staff who are friendly, efficient and truly grasp the notion of "patient service". I'm greeted with a friendly hello every time I walk into the office, receive reminder calls and have always received help with reimbursement questions/concerns. I have never waited more than five minutes for a scheduled appointment. Dr. Aldridge does fantastic work and has a wonderful attitude while doing it. I highly recommend his practice.

Highly recommend Holmdel Periodontics!! I was hesitant to go in due to the current climate but everyone in the office made me feel safe. The entire office was disinfected, sanitized and cared for with the utmost attention. Dr. Aldredge is wonderful at what he does and his staff are by far the most caring and friendliest in the industry.

Dr. Aldredge is very attentive and takes time to answer questions. I did not feel rushed like I do with other doctors and dentists. He's also funny, which is a huge plus in my book. The hygienist that did my scraping was great as well. She was gentle even though I'm sure it was a rough job. The office staff are so kind and helpful, too. This is a great office with a very soothing atmosphere and that really helps to calm some of the anxiety of getting dental work.
