Dr. Anita Omidi, DMD, was raised in San Diego and graduated from UCSDwith a degree in Biology. She then attended Bostons prestigious TuftsUniversity School of Dental Medicine in which she received her DMDdegreein 1994. Along with practicing dentistry in San Diego she has alsopracticed in Los Angeles and had a practice on the famous Park Avenue in NewYork. She is extensively trained in all aspects of general and cosmeticdentistry including root canals, oral surgery and implant restorations. Dr.Omidis passion has always been to provide highest quality dentistry for herpatients and their families while stressing the continuity of care theydeserve. Her expertise include cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry,fixed prosthodontics and implant restorations, endodontics, oral surgery,periodontics and pedodontics. Dr. Omidi emphasizes preventative care to helpassure her patients future dental health. She truly cares about each one ofher patients as if they were one of her family members.
Dr. Rabinovich has been a resident of San Diego for almost 25 years. He earned his dental degree from AIC LV Dental Academy in 1985 and then in 1992 from University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Rabinovich was inspired at a very young age by his parents and grandparents to enter the field of dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry (especially cosmetic and restorative) and is known for his gentle and caring touch. Dr. Rabinovich feels blessed with the opportunity to help his patients and their children look and feel better about themselves by creating the smile of their dreams. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Rabinovich likes to play his violin and piano. In addition to music, he likes outdoor activities like fishing, exploring national parks and traveling around the world. Dr. Rabinovich is passionate about staying in tune with research and development in communications, health, and safety.
Dr. Joshua Shayefar was born and raised in Beverly Hills, California. He attended the University of Pennsylania School of Dental Medicine, finishing his first year Summa Cum Laude and graduating with High Honors. He continued his Ivy League specialty training at Columbia University, completing a Certificate in Periodontology during his time.
Dr. Shayefar enjoys the field of periodontics and dental implant surgery as it demands great attention to detail and emphasizes the continuous mastery of innovative microsurgical approaches. He also has a passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, and takes great pride in creating beautiful and confident smiles for his patients.
Dr. Josh Shayefar is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society, and the West Los Angeles Dental Society. He is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation as well as in Laser assisted periodontal procedures commonly known as LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure). He has been published in the world-renowned Compendium Dental Magazine and Explorer Dental Magazine. He also serves as the Mentorship Chair as well as on the Membership Committee for the Los Angeles Dental Society. He is a faculty member and instructor for the Global International Implant Academy, teaching general dentists the principles and concepts of periodontics and implant dentistry. Last but not least, he is the recipient of the 2020 Straumann Annual Meeting Scholarship.

I've been going to Hollander Dental for 15 years. Dr Omidi is my angel, she is so kind and caring. And my hygienist today was Nicole who is a very sweet young lady and it's a pleasure having my teath polished by her.

Dr Rabinovich and the all the staff at Hollander Dental are courteous, kind, and honestly the best dental care I've received lately. I was recommended by my parents and I am happy I made an appointment and will continue with Hollander Dental!

Dr. Omidi is the best! She is always smiling and friendly, and has kept my teeth in great condition over the years. She does a great job, and has very reasonable prices for items not covered by insurance. I recommend Hollander Dental!

Dr. Omidi is simply the best! She truly cares about her patients and it shows through her work. She is extremely thorough and makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way. She has inspired me to put more effort into my dental hygiene and I'm so grateful to have her as my dentist. 10/10!

I chose Hollander as my dentist about 10 yrs ago because it seemed like a consistent practice, and my experiences with other 'offices' had been very underwhelming. I couldn't have chosen a better place to renew my faith. Hollander is absolutely great. It reminds me of how dentistry was when I was growing up: very friendly, they genuinely care about you, it's a long-term relationship and I have total confidence in the practice. Hollander is a 'classic'. Thank you Dr. Omidi and thank you Hollander.

I've been a patient at Hollander Dental since 2010. Its hard to find a good dentist, but Dr. Rabinovich.is outstanding!!!!! The office staff and dental assistants are amazing as well. The office is extremely clean. No wait time for appointment.

I don't usually do these but I have to regarding Dr. Omidi and Hollander Dental. When you walk into the office they are always so welcoming. The doctor and her staff make me feel so comfortable there and they do care. I don't know about anyone else but most doctors and dentists offices I don't feel that way. At Hollander Dental you will. The most important part is Dr. Omidi is meant to do what she does. You can tell when you're there she enjoys what she is doing and she does an amazing job. My teeth and crowns look amazing. You will not be disappointed!

I was recently introduced to Hollander Dental Associates and I'm very thankful I was. The care from the doctors and staff is superb. I've consulted with quite a bit of dental practices in the north county San Diego area and something didn't feel right with any of them so I never pursued further dental work and just settled with the problems at hand. After a phone call to set up an appointment I had nothing but good feelings and the first visit validated those good feelings. The staff is so friendly, very caring & extremely helpful. Dr. Omidi is such a sweet woman and very informative of what work is being done. I recently have been working with Dr. Shaffer on having gum graphing done and let me tell you, I didn't feel any pain during or after. The care he provides through this procedure is much different, more effective & more ideal and practical for everyday living during the healing process. I'm very grateful for all Hollander has already done for me & am happy to be a patient at a practice that takes care of their patients long term. Special thank you to Linda, the office manager, that is on top of all the paper work and financial needs. She has been a pleasure to work with and has such a kind heart.

Dr. Omidi's is one of the most considerate and skillful dentists I have ever interacted with. She is incredibly thoughtful and cares deeply about each one of her patients despite new or old. She always respects the patient's opinion and financial situation and does what she can to help her patients as much as possible. I cannot be more grateful to have found such an amazing dentist and her wonderful group of staff.
